  1. Timing is everything, if you aren’t on time or you do something at the wrong time it could make things all wrong. and you don’t just get time BACK. Therefore it makes it very important to make sure your timing is perfect or close as it can be. Many people look for puntcual people, though the ones who are punctual usually go unoticed

  10. “The timing belt’s off”, announced the middle aged mechanic as he wiped grease from his hands. His eyes squinted at the young woman. “Shouldn’t be owning a car, when she can barely feed herself & daugher”, he thought. She had the typical careworn biz suit of the working poor. She smiled at him & thanked him. “How much?”, she asked. “Couple hundred” He replied. “No”, she chuckled, “Not to fix it, to scrap it!” “$50 bucks”, he answered dryly. “Done” she replied. He tried not to stare. She seemed calm & relieved. “Did you want a payment plan?” What the hell?! he thought as he heard the words come out his mouth. He never did a payment plan! “How kind!” she smiled. He was hooked on that smile. I guess I just want to look at her longer, he thought.

  23. Timing is crucial. It can fuck good things up or allow bad things to never happen. I believe that things end up happening the way they are supposed to, so timing is important. Things will happen in the time in which it is supposed to happen. You have to trust in that.

  29. timing is really important. My timing about telling this girl that I love her is impeccable. Maybe ‘I love her’ is misleading. I am also a girl. I am not ‘in’ love with her. I love her very dearly though. And she doesn’t know how much she means to me. But it’s a lot. And I’m telling her tomorrow morning. And this timing is almost perfect. Perfectly ironic and perfectly simple. Last year from tomorrow was the first time I tried telling her, and failed. And it is also one week and a couple days after she got back to college, in Rhode Island. So even if she does react a certain way, she will be across the entire country. And won’t be able to hurt me any more than she already has.

  36. The timing was perfect. After observing the oscillations of the pendulum for a few seconds, I had estimated its period to be approximately thirty seconds. I even trusted myself enough to close my eyes then make the jump. Landing safely, I began climbing up to the next stage of the obstacle course: the forty-foot rope climb.

  37. timing is everything. without it, there would be no serendipity, no humour. if the right things happen at the wrong time, then they are not the right things at all. our lives are like story-books, where sequence is crucial.

  38. i never seem to have the right timing. it’s not a matter of my intentions to always have to say things at the wrong times… but it’s like i try to envision a world where i can say things at exactly the right time, but let’s be realistic. such a world does not exist. and i can never really understand why…

  39. The timing was right. The timing was perfect. The only thing lacking was action-a jump into the unknown. A risk. You see, perfect timing isn’t everything.
