“Of course I’m happy,” The little boy replied. “Why wouldn’t I be?”

  7. The tower of london is one of the most iconic landmarks in England. Its history is almost 1000 years long and it has witnessed some of the most momentous moments of English history. It knows the answer to some of the country’s mysteries – such as what happened to the little princes? It’s an amalgam of periods in its architecture and is an impressive monument to power.

  13. Looking off of the tower. I have never felt so tall, yet so vulnerable. I thought being bigger than everyone was supposed to give you an advantage? I thought I was supposed to feel powerful? Well, all I feel is exceptionally scared of the distance I am from the ground. I back away from the window to rid myself of that horrible, turning feeling in my stomach.

  29. as a tower looks down
    we stare at the ground
    we don’t raise our eyes
    to the skies.

to wish to dream to sleep to
    die.
to be thrown from the highest cliff,
    to learn to
    fly.

    soaring above mountains and valleys
i saw a pair of footprints in the sand.
    alas, they were only mine.
    beautifully, they were my own.
    gracefully, they danced and stumbled.
    quietly, they traveled home.
