  13. She looked at the tree in with an expression of slight disgust. Why were there so few boxes under it? Had Santa not seen how good she had been this year? She made extra-sure that she did everything that her parents told her to in order to receive the one toy that she has wanted ALL year– the Deluxe Barbie Dream House with working lights and sound.

  15. What luxury to take time to play with a toy! What would it be today for me? My teddy bear – a gift from a family friend when I was three? Or one of my dolls, or reading a book? Playing jacks, playdough?

  16. Never did she realize that her heart felt wretched. Not until someone pointed it out to her that she was not acting like herself. The loneliness she felt was seen by everyone else. Has she been blind to her own feelings? Or has she tried to stop herself from thinking about the reality she is in. What is this fantasy that she is living in?

The spell has been broken. She has realized that she was treated like a toy by the man she thought was her knight. When in truth, he was just a child fumbling through the game of love.

  17. To fight is human. To play is God.

  18. I really like toys because they are fun and provide entertainment. Toys remind me of childhood and when there was absolutely no stress. It reminds me of the colourful plastic objects I used to beg mum and dad for at the shops. Toys remind me of the time when I got lost in Target and I cried for a long time until I was found.

  19. He’d just been a toy in her box of goodies, tossed aside once she’d figured out how he thought, what pushed his buttons, and how easy it was to make him grind to a halt once she removed her hand.

  23. Something to play with, for adult or child, is a toy. Toys vary in their purpose from providing entertainment or for education. But all toys give pleasure to the user.

  24. People are not toys. They are not meant to be played with and cast aside when you become bored or tired with them. Unlike toys, people do not sit placidly by, waiting for you to come back to them. People can and will walk away, turn their backs, or retaliate…

  25. this toy has one shape and one shape only and I am almost certain that you will never guess it. I’m even more certain I do not know the shape’s name. I have, in point of fact, never seen this toy. I do know that it is red and brown and has some sparkle to it but no luster and little shine. I wish I had more toys growing up, and I certainly wish I had this one. I wish I had this one so I could know just what this toy’s shape was. Or is? It may no longer exist. One may never know. I don’t. You don’t. Do you? That doesn’t matter. It’s a toy and it makes someone happy- if even only by the mere thought of it.

  26. I hate TOY dogs
They quietly shiver or loudly bark
But their bites barely leave a mark
Not as useful as any type of tool,
They let themselves be used like fools
By spoiled stupid rich immature girls
I’d send ’em all straight to Hell.

Can accessories be cool when they pee or poop
Man, I hate folks that like the TOY dog group

  27. The last time I received a toy I was 12. It has been a long sad time since then. At first you don’t notice your lack of toys and then years later you finally realize that you miss them.

  28. Modern electronics like iphones are not a TOY
They are business a tool for Men not Boys
Not for girls, but great for women too
As it saves from real danger and doom
not for trite boredom or merely gloom
My own study from books I still often do
Others rely on its apps like a food
Without that ‘toy’, I still get derivative of 2
I’m fine without it or calculators, Are you?

  30. I wish I had a toy that interested me as much as when I was little, nothing holds that fascination in this world anymore and there are so many that the dull roar of toys has been over concentrated so much so that they are pretty worthless and disposable now, I wish I had my old toys….

    Natalie
  31. As a youth, I brought TOYs to school
And guys like you I thought were fools
Kids were selfish and would break a TOY
So I didn’t share more with girl or boy
My great toys were lost too soon in the past
Were it not for others, they would still last
They called me stingy as they cried and snitched
That’s why, gladly, I beat-down those lil’ pricks

  32. People have many toys, from the traditional childrens plaything to the latest iphone. These things are entertainment, they may keep us occupied for a short time but they stifle the urge to go out and create ourselves, to find our own entertainment through newer and more fulfilling methods. Like a child with a cardboard box finds this more fulfilling, so would we
