  8. a vehicle to ride in, the cause of death, a mode of transportation for the poor, for people who are scared of planes, the word “rain” with t in front, the vehicle dumbo traveled in, a place where circus performers sleep, can transport animals, the only vehicle that people can jump on or off successfully (mostly in movies)

  9. trains are fun. once, when i was a little boy i took a train from jersey to florida. it had beds in it. comfy beds. beds are comfy. my bed is comfy. i had a banana for breakfast on the train. and today. weird. cool. bananas. monkeys. i wish i had a pet monkey. or a pet squirrel.

  10. i was watching a program tonight on late TV. i never watch the news. but this was a special edition called “caught in the act” and it was about scary incidents where little kids get away without being killed from moments where they could have been. this one was about a stroller being run over by a train and making it out alive. scary.

  11. the train was huge and grey, like an enourmous menacing, advancing monster. I stood there, trying to accept the death that was advancing so quickly. I couldn’t though. How could it end like this? was it possible that a human life could be destroyed by something that it had helped make? I thought about my family, friends, and everything that was mine. Steven… I didn’t want it to end like this; but it was too late. The ropes were too tight.

  13. I saw the train blast by like a bullet. No sound, no feeling. Faster than my eyes could handle. I wish I was on that train. Going wherever it may roam.

  14. its a mean of transportation.People get into it and it takes them to different places.From city to another or from country to another country.Some of trains are so fast now days and some are slow like the old days.

  15. I love the sound they make when they pass by my window at sunset. Especially when the bells are gonging, too. There’s something solemn about it. I think of trains and the scent of dewy green grass comes to mind, and also the sound of raindrops. I miss the thunder I used to hear, but the rumble of the tracks out my window are a reasonable substitute for them. Trains are so companionable; there’s nothing like curling up with a blank notebook and knowing the train will help you keep your rhythm.

  17. I like trains. My grandpa LOVES them. He bought a train car once. He stilll wants to do things with trains. I wish I had such a clear love for something so tangible. And trains are still legit. Don’t think they’re not. My grandpa is still legit too. He was talking about hybrid cars

  19. Stepping off of the subway train, she couldn’t help but feel a deep remorse over what she had done. She didn’t want it to end like this, but she knew it couldn’t have lasted. All good things must fade, after all. Why would this be any different?

  20. My father likes trains. He likes them a lot. In fact I kind of make fun of him for it. But actually his childlike fascination with them is an endearing quality. Makes me wish and wonder what it would be like if I could view the world like that. If I wasn’t so hardened and cynical. What would it be like to view the world through a child’s eyes again, even just in a minuscule way like that?

  23. we took the train to denver; i slept in the top bunk. my s-sis and i had our own little room. we were delayed for 3hrs on our way in, and on our way home we were delayed in iowa. we ended up having to take a greyhound back to chicago. it was a great trip, aside from the mode of travel.

  25. Her father was a lush and in a drunken stupor he put her on a train and sent her to Pennsylvania. Her mother was infuriated. Just sending a child on a train by herself across seven states.

  26. Trains are the Things that take us from point a to point b.
    These are the mode of transport for thousands of people everyday. Many people depend on it for their income , their earning. Without trains , travelling for the poor people will be Like super tough. So dont look Upon them as cheap modes , But the Most substantial ones.

  30. My train of thought made absolutely no sense, but somehow he understood. Somehow he was able to follow me through the obstacle course, even when there seemed to be whole sections cut out. He could follow my sharp turns, my dead ends, and even the start of a completely different topic. Heck, sometimes he even wound up ahead of me.

  37. One time I saw a train driving down the free way and I though that was strange. I pulled over and saw that there was a deer driving this. Now im getting weirder out so I decided to leave the country and go to Japan where all the real weird shit happens. From that moment on I adopted a penguin and lived happily ever after.

  40. Trains are my one guilty pleasure. I could probably spend all day with them, learning about them, hell, just standing right next to one and looking directly up at the sheer size of it until my neck hurt.
