I was on a train, you know. One way ticket. Who knows where I was headed, I just knew the general direction was away from you. Then you show up again and I miss my train, burn my ticket, unpack my bags.

Her train was simply beautiful, made of ivory lace and decorated with pearls. down the aisle, it was her deepest dream. In three months she would be a widow.

i’ll take the next train so i don’t have to see your disappointed face anymore. and where ever it takes me, that’s where i’m supposed to be. i suppose. always moving, always leaving. flash: disappear. too far gone, not quite far enough.
call you up in the middle of the morning, i think you’re in a meeting, i can hear the secretary passing you the phone, i can hear the way she tells you that’s its me, my name has become a bad word. you say, ‘I hate when things turn into bruises,’ and hang up.
i used to live in new york and i would ride the train al the time , it stank or stunk ; it smelled really REALLY BAD ! i saw rats everywhere ; they were kinda cute . i would always be frightened that they might get ran over by that pissed on subway train . oh the things i saw were very depressing . i couldn’t determine why most of these things happened . people were shameless . once i saw an african american man and an asian woman holding hands and an old white man boarded the train and spit on them . i gasped . ‘wow’ is all i could whisper to my quiet mother . ‘what ? because we’re an inter-racial couple you’re going to spit on us ? karma ; it’ll get you . just watch .’ and the small asian woman turned around , clenched her lovers hand even tighter , and gave him a big kiss . the old white man just smacked his lips . that day i learned that i don’t have to follow the crowd and be everyone else’s idea of ‘normal .’ that’s so not me ! you can’t change me . this is who i am and i don’t give a train what you think . no one can change me ; not you , not my mother , not the principal , not the president , no one . why people do things like this is not on my mind ; it’s rather what have they gone through to make them act in that manner .

She took a midnight train going anywhere. He stood behind her, slowly caressing her golden locks. Their hands intertwined in the dim light, their pulses moving with the train. It slowed. She jumped, but he fell.
I love trains. I love eating iin the dining car. I would love to sleep in one of those old Pullman compartments but without the racism. I don’t like racism. But I love trains. I love going to new places and I want to do it in a fancy sleeping car on a fancy train.

I hate trains. Well, to be clear, I hate trains that run longer than 4 hours. I just can’t stand it! Especially when the cushions are labelled “comfort”. They clearly have no idea what they’re talking about. If you’ve ever sat on a train for 22 hours then you know what I’m talking about. Constantly adjusting and readjusting yourself in the vain hope that you might be able to sleep for a period longer than 10 minutes. trains? no thank you.

once upon a time we were on a train together. the rain was falling faster than anyone could blink and you were looking into my eyes like i was your last hop. i wish we could go back to that…that lovely place in time where i loved you and you loved me.

a train can take you to many places… perhaps some in which we only see in our dreams and imaginations. If only we can capture these images in our memory forever. I want to travel with you in an endless journey, where we can hold each other endlessly<3

I was with my best friend when I fell asleep on a train. She was in the seat across from me, and I had my head against the window. The rhythmic sound and rattling soothed me somehow, and eventually my eyes just drifted shut.
My whole school was there. I woke up to the principal running down the aisle between the seats, yelling for a doctor.
Somebody almost died on that trip. Someone I knew well. My best friend almost died in her sleep.
Trains are a great method of travel. They are old. Choo choo.
I have ridden a train only once in my life. I was a baby. Choo choo.
Trains are loud. Choo choo.

Takes you there…slowly. You don’t have to worry about the drive, just being and observing the outside word. Oceans and valleys, cities and little towns all pass and come. It truly is a small world…

Trains are fast and exciting. If I could run away, I feel as though a train would be something that could and would take me far away from where I do want to be right now. It’s rapid and fast, and thinks about nothing in it’s path–just goes without even a necessary motivation. It is relaxing.

“Goodbye,”
She watched as he entered the train, watching him leave, for good this time.
A tear slid down her cheek, “Goodbye, perverted alien.”
The train is going ever forward, watch out for the woman on the tracks. Evil man twists a mustache and waits for the maiden to be gone. Who will save her? No one knows… the steam billowing like pillows in the sky. Chug a chug a choo choo. Who is going to save you?
Train moving fast. Faster than sound, faster than light. It stuns me so as the motion hits me like, well, a train. Full on impact. I cannot breathe, cannot think. I have been hit, I need medical support. Blood. Everywhere…everywhere.

She took the midnight train goin’ anywhere. A singer in a smoky room, the smell of wine and cheap perfume, she took the midnight train goin’ anywhere …
You can hear it ride the tracks, sounds like thunder…fear, is the first reaction and then, I remember it’s only the sound or the idea of the action that creates that initial scare and I realize I can hop right on and flash by along with the wheels and drive on out
There was a train and it sped along the tracks. The old man shuffled along, approaching the line. He didn’t look up at the urgent screech as it approached…
The driver scrunched his eyes shut.

The was a huge train standing on the fourth track. It gleamed in the morning sunlight and looked as though it had just been wheeled out of the manufacturers yard.

Too catch the train wasn’t enough; she had to catch the train, do her shopping, get the gift, and make it back, all before her husband made it back from lodge. Time was scarce, and she had absolutely no idea where to find what she was looking for. Of course, he had told her not to bother, but she had heard him speak about the leather duster for weeks now.
Raymond Masters
I hopped on the train with no intention of going back. I went to Brooklyn and all I could think about was the boy I had left standing at the train stop…holding my jacket. I miss him sometimes.
There is one word in the English language that I particularly love, not only because it sounds great but it also has a wonderful meaning. That word is serendiptuous.

train has got to be the way to travel on days to see the view and to be rollin with the cars as they run over the tracks and bump along the way as you are on your way to the destination you have or may have not planned….be free…on the train, with the wheels.
Amanda
Listening to the clacking of the wheels against the tracks, the roar of the engine, the sound made by the crossing signal, I’m standing here thinking of you. You are old fashioned romance, boxcar jumping and campfire tales.

went with max on a train recently. can be gross with the sticky seats and whatnot, but are an efficient way to travel – also can avoid parental transportation. trains are exciting because they mean i’m GOING SOMEWHERE. yay. good times. tren is train in spanish.

I never really ride on trains, but it seems like you lose yourself when you are on one. No one really talks, and you just people watch and forget about who you are, at least I do that. Trains are pretty cool though because it is cheap but you can get places so quickly. I guess trains should be more spread out to the west coast, I would use them, it can be fun.
I have been on an Amtrack train. While was on this train… I listened to the Beatles and I fell in love. Trains can take you anywhere if you put them on the right track.

I see a train passing by me. I have always wanted to ride one, and will some day. My friend and I have a goal: take a train ride. Wherever, whenever. Trains are romantic and anything can happen while on one. The ‘choo choo’ is comforting. Water for Elephants may have turned people back on to them, I suspect. I love traveling.

I was riding the train and a teen girl came up to me, smirking and commenting about the way I look.
“My brother comes home drunk every night and beats me: that’s why i have these scars.
My dad rapes me: that is why i never let anyone touch me.
My mother never stops them: That is why i will never be able to trust anyone.
This is the shit i go through. every. fucking. day.
Your telling me i have no right to say what i say,
well why don’t you try taking a walk in my shoes for a chance,
