Its got pretty big wheels. And I think there’s a hobo on board but I can’t tell from where I’m standing. It’s loud, I know that. And I wish I was on it. That’s all.
Blake
Leaving, quickly, like you need to get away. reminds me of an old-time movie, with pillbox hats and train cars filled with people looking for a better life.
She lead the way as the cars passed along the track, although the depth of her fears were bubbling up in her gut. “God, I hope I don’t break down,” she thought.
My plans were working.

I’ve always wondered what it would be like to ride on a train. I always imagined that they would have brass piping throughout and red velvet seats with gold accents.
Amy
SOOOOOOUL Train! I remember watching Soul Train on Saturday Mornings after all of the cartoons were over. I can see that funky traing chugging across the screen to the beat.
the train is gray and it moves very fast. It makes me car sick. Accept I am in a train. Weird.

He stood on the platform looking at his watch, “Where is it?” he muttered to himself before craning his head to see if he could see the train approaching. “Its fifteen minutes late, what am I going to do?” he added with a sigh. “Bloody Public transport.”
A man was walking towards a train. He seemed to know exactly where he was headed but no one would have guessed that he was homeless, and destinationless.
Sarah
I rode on a train the other day. The crimson engine roared as I boarded. Passengers watched as I stumbled onto the train from the wooden platform. Someone grabbed my arm as the train began to pull away.

it was really cozy so long ago,
huddling in the dark,
curtains,
in public like I’d always wanted but
really just a strong first step
(to which there was no second)
and we arrived in the dark as we
still are.
One day I got onto the train and saw a woman wearing an orchid in her hair. She was reading a copy of J.D. Salinger’s “Nine Stories.” I asked her which of the nine was her favorite. She didn’t speak English.
Kevin Glass
The train sat, waiting, steam pouring off its sides. She didn’t want to leave. The train was indifferent.
A horn blew. Time to go.
Bob Nolin
My mind is blank. I don’t care about trains.
Tori Fontenot
a train rolled through my life yesterday and it didnt stop, but forced me to hop on, and make a choice. do i get off at the next stop? kepp rollin? do i find you?
the train goes by quickly. many people ride ther train for work and pleasure. life as a train would be monotonous, people coming and going and never resting. A train would see many things. The train makes many loud noises, and is very fast. It is a means for trportation for many people.
Nicole
the train farted on my head, and i said, please dont run over my dead wifes body, for she has just been raped fervently. Suck my dick while i blow your whistle and poop in all my orifices. I hope one day you will crash off the rails and violently and painfully kill all the passengers
Chris Ralls
I sat there, thinking about how ridiculous, and comical, and terribly predictable all of it was. I was getting on a train, to escape something. How trite. And then it began to move.
Oh, I remember the day that a train almost hit me. It was a rather blinding experience. I truly wish that I would have been hit however….

I took the train once, after my girlfriend had given me a drawing she made me. It was beautiful and I couldn’t help but cry. I wish I still had it. I wish.
On the CD she gave was the song “Angel”, and when I listened to it, it made me cry. I wish I still had that CD. I wish.
Meagan
a train speed by a while ago as she walked towards the tracks. She was lucky she didn’t get crashed in but her friend was worried sick about how she just pass by not noticing the train speed by. What were she thinking, she asked?
i saw the train coming down the mountain side, belching thick black smoke out of its tall chimney top. it was bright red and had a aura of mystery about it, as if it had been chugging down this mountain for years and years and someone had forgotten about it completely.
Sophia
there is a train that appeared out o nowhere with candies it runs on tracks and long and has many wheels and can put in any item and people it runs by steam and electricity it is faster than a car but can be slow down it is hard to slow down though.
Ynna
The train hurtled toward me. As I stood frozen in fear on the tracks, time moved slowly. Then, something hit me, pinning me to the ground. I tried to see what it was, but I hit my head. Feeling dizzy, I shut my eyes. In the darkness, I heard the train moving closer, but I didn’t feel any pain.
I knew the train wouldn’t wait. Not for me. Not for her. It didn’t wait for anyone. But still I hoped she would still be there so I could convince her, beg her, plead with her to come home. But the platform was empty. And so was I.
Doug McIntire
there is a train that’s going to the station- and harry potter and hermione and ron are on it! they are really excited to be going to hogwarts for their second year… i wonder who the defense against the dark arts teacher will be?
Katie
I was on a train once. Maybe twice, I don’t remember. My family was going to see another family that had triplets. This was the coolest thing in the world to me. I always wanted a twin, but two… wow.

Riding the train in NYC is a magnificent experience. I secretly love it when I get the new subway cars, with its blue seats and electronic signs. It has a feeling of future. But the old cars are also appealing, with a retro look that can’t be matched by the new ones.
Linda

trains are amazing because they take people places and they transport people all over the word. I personally like them better than airplanes, cars, bikes, etc because they are more scenic and unusaly than all of those. Trains are amazing. Trains aRE MOST ENERGY EFFICIENT AND THEY REALLY KICK A LOT OF ASS
Train a child in a way he should go and he will not depart from it. Not sure if you train children or aninals. Sounds a bit primitive, but pprobably a relatively good idea. I really do not lie tyoing and not correcting my mistakes especially since I am terribly obsessive complusive.
I am hoping these 60 second exercises help mt to turn of the internal editor. I am hoping that that which I say I enjoy doing I actuially start doing. I will need to learn to write differntky. I am curent;y used toi creating training documents. Technical documents. Powerpoint point presentations. Docukents used by opertion associates, and new hires
I train all the days long and never seem to get anywhere. Maybe I’m doing it wrong. Maybe I’m just not cut out for it.

He fell asleep on the train the first time he came to see her. Missed his stop, let her wait longer, longer, longer. There was the adolescent boy sitting in the seat across, with the slanted nose, quick fingers tapping a non-existent melody against the corner of the window, who had taken discreet possession of his wallet. There was the boy’s mother, responsible for dressing the air with a thick texture of oleander and vanilla blossoms, feigning ignorance to anything. There was one of his suitcases damaged during a particularly abrupt halt and there were extra charges and a sandwich he dropped onto the sticky, gum-stained floor after the first bite.
And then- Then there was just her. With the storm cloud eyes and quivering lips, shoulders tired from standing so long, on platform 2, in the February cold with determination instead of a coat. Just her. So very beautiful and alive and there, there, there right in front of him. He tripped the steps down from the train into her arms. It was the best day of his life.
