  1. troops that march in a straight line represent the drumsticks of my life, for as the troops march to the beat of drums, they also look like drumsticks. And that reminds me of KFC. I like KFC. They have drumsticks there. I bet the troops like drumsticks too.

  2. There are alot of troops in iraq dying for no good reason. I find it really depressing that we are fighting for people who do not care about us. As much as I’d like to believe in word peace, I don’t know what it’s going to take for the world to achieve it. Some say that the world will end in 2012, and some say it will be a revalation in thinking. Hopefully it will be a revalation in thinking. The world needs it.
    One love.

  6. There were so many soldiers, line after line they stood on the hill underneath the burning summer sun. There were several troops of these sizes, ready to go into battle and fight ’till the death. They didn’t care about surviving. All they wanted was to win.

  8. It was the look of them, covered in dirt and trotting back broken. Their clothes were hung and tattered like their faces and I among them, one of them though I had never killed.
I’d watched the men with their bayonets, but I was here for myself.

  12. I think the troops situation is quite crazy. I mean, why add more troops already?

I tried watching Obama’s speech but I just couldn’t concentrate.

I know it’s really childish, but I’m so tired of war and fighting and all the hate and death. It’s stupid, but it’s true. I mean, I just.

It doesn’t make sense. Sometimes I really feel like America is one big bully, and we’re just pushing all the kids on the playground.

  13. For the Troops killing was a lifestyle. They didn’t do it so much as they needed to, they did it because they loved it. They loved the way it made them feel. The adrenaline surging through the veins! A natural high!

  14. I don’t want to die. It seems lonely, or at least stressful… how is it rewarding? They march, the faceless redshirts, and their names aren’t ever going to be in the credits because they’re pawns in a game run by higher powers.

Generals seem like gods, I suppose.

  16. The troops were marching in, eye of the tiger. Thrill of the fight. That’s how we roll.
    True dat.
    I love you, J.
    Life is good now.
But not with troops, we don’t want war. Peace, not war. Love, not war. You know, the 60’s in a nutshell.

  17. Marching and marching and shooting and killing because they think it’s right. Is it? Who knows? Certainly not them. They do it because it’s their job, most of them. Some do it because they feel like it’s their duty to their nation. I honestly don’t know why most people do it… seeing as how I’m not a soldier or anything like that.

  18. Support the troops. That’s what we always hear. But what about the troops themselves? “Troops” — such a disengaging word. Makes you forget that they’re actually people, humans, not just numbers. If there were no war, we wouldn’t need troops. What else could all these talented men and women be doing with their lives?

  19. the troops came marching down the street, their uniforms blazing with colour and their pride stiffened by the victories they had made. There was nothing but loathing from the people watching the parade as these were the men who had taken away their freedom

  20. The troops marched forward. Their guns blazed. What were they fighting for? Nothing. What was she fighting for? Nothing.

  22. The troops in our nation are underpaid and unappreciated by most. people are more worried about the war and our business not being there. most people do not think about the support our troops need. I love us troops!!!!!!! :)

  25. The troops have done a lot for us. Obama is sending in approximately 38,000 more troops into the war, and I don’t know how I feel about that. I want the war to be over with and I want these troops to be sent home to their families.

    Ashley
  33. The troops silently marched through the marshes. No one talked, no one looked anywhere but ahead. It was a quiet, foggy day. The only sound in the air was the squish of the water in their boots and the buzzing of mosquitoes around them. It was like any other day. But what they didnt know was that one of them was going to die that day.

  36. war iraq world war II There are American soldiers in all kinds of countries across the world, but they aren’t the only country that has war. There has been war since men were created in the early times, all through the middle ages, and right up through modern day. They’ve been in Iraq, Vietnam, Germany, Japan, China and every other country.

  38. army in iraque. Poor men spend their lives doing something that is so foreign and strange. I would never take up an offer to be a troop if I was given it. Unless I found it to be for a very good cause.

    Lydia

  40. The troops marched out of India. They were tired and they wanted to go home.

“Be ready for an attack,” Commander March said.

All the troops sighed. They wondered why they were here.

“I heard that,” the commander said. “If you die, it’ll be your own fault.”
