He is part of it, like Bush, Clinton, Reagan, etc. When will people stop supporting the most oppressive force ever known to man?

    Dustin

Now how could he go to them after being gone for over a year, after they were sure to have heard of all the death that had happened…

    Jessica J. Zimdars

  11. The troops headed off to battle. The leader of the team focused all of his attention ahead of him. His sharp eyes would catch anything that breathed in that salty desert air. The hot sun bore down of the troops as they ran faster to get to their destination.

    Mandy

  15. What the hell would it take to take the troops out of the desert towns? Machine guns outside of victoria’s secret was not my dream of the future of America. At least I can still wear my hair down.

    Calimora
  16. I was one of the troops. Part of the last cycle of WAC soldiers to have basic training on Tank Hill at Fort Jackson, South Carolina back in 1977. I drank like a fish and carried an M-16.

  22. we are sendign 30000000 more to Aff…the middle east.

    Bill
  23. While I know that I support the troops overseas, it’s so hard to get behind a war that I don’t support. I feel like my generation can’t find reasons to be supportive, but we need something to fight for, to get behind to connect us like the generations before. Previous generations had WWII, Vietnam (even though they were united against it), and other events.

  24. Troops can be singular r plural whgich I find confusing yet endearing. As in, a troops was sent home from the battlefield because of grenade inujuries.

    Jessica
  25. troops of ants….marching through the rain, up the hill, around the leaves….on and on they march, not to bite you or me, not to cause trouble, just to go to the picnic like anyone else.

    kaloni
  26. the troops went in for battle…they charged toward the war zone….feet stomping, growls growing, armed and ready for the fight. The smell of victory was thick in the air….they ran faster and faster and faster….finally, grilled cheese…mmm-mmmm

    Scarlet Elyse
  27. Oh the troops, marching to and fro.
The military is the dirt devil that vaccums up all the know nothings, would be suicides and just plain useless people. everyones got a purpose I guess, right?

    Fredric aulson
  28. troops of armies.. troops of sheep.. troops are groups of things, ppl, animals… I dont like troops.. honestly I prefer small groups and not big ones… too noisy and annoying if you know what I mean… for example whats more annoying than a troop of cows? with their bells and noises.

    Lul93
  29. Another disappointment.

Imagine a stupid ape holding a finely crafted collidiscope. The ape mouths the thing, shakes it in frustration… never looks inside at the patterns of dancing light. Frustrated, it flings the collidiscope away. The final pattern exposed upon impact…
That’s what I see whenever I hear folks say, “Send in the Troops”.

  33. The day they all left hurt me like you wouldnt believe, but there was one man, one man that I loved that went with them overseas that I may have never seen again. I did though. He came home. Only to leave again. I wear my yellow ribbon everyday. For my friends and the man I loved that have been and are gone and have lost lives and survived. What courage our men and women have. Thank you for being there. Our country needs you everyday.

  37. With her tiny red rain boots, I watched my sister troop down the kitchen, bellowing at the top of her lungs. I knew the story behind my mother’s non-action. Her patient smile. When that was me years and years ago, I would promptly get a spanking and be told that ladies were seen and not heard. But years in America had changed my mother, and they will produce a different me, currently in the form of a screaming brat.

  38. We’ve been trying to take over the bridge for two days now. Nothing we do seems to work against these bastards. last night, while we were taking a break from our recon, a group of them came by. None were armed, Shooting them was tough.

  39. Again with the troops. I had troops just now. I wrote about monkeys and thought it terribly clever. Why give me troops again? This is not cool. I refuse to write anything more about troops.

  40. Monkeys move in a troop. Kinda ironic isn’t it. Isn’t this what war boils down to. A whole lot of monkeys fighting over resources and territory.
