  9. Trotting down the sidewalk, I thought of a horse who would do the same as he thought of the reasons he lived. He was named Greenback, and had nothing to do with money–he was a loveable horse with no reason to be unhappy. We all loved Greenback. I trot now, with no intention of ever going back to walking, in memory of Greenback. Trotting will forever be our secret friendship code.

  14. My horse trotted through the mall last Saturday when he got loose from his trailer. I was so embarrassed as I walked out of Dillard’s to see him eating the plants and then trotting off towards Sears. I wanted to pretend that he wasn’t mine, but I knew that I had to reign him in and get him out of the mall. What will I ever do with that one trick pony?

  30. trot is what a fox does when it runs, lanky and flowing in the grass. The movement is neither slow nor fast, but carries with it a jaunty grace, as the fox travels, like solid wind. If any movement could be said to have happiness embedded in its core, it would be the trot.

  31. She pulled up short, skidding as she tried to slow down her momentum from her trot. It didn’t work, however, and she fanned her wings in a futile effort to prevent her inevitable crash into the wall.

  32. trot sounds like a horse term like trot around the pasture or something like that. it makes it seem very country. i personally am not a big fan of horses because they are large and smell and have the potential to attack. i feel that way about most animals they are large and could always attack. i realize that this isnt really related to trot but it kind of is kind of like that commericial where they say a word and then it just goes on and on to something compeltely different.

    Yo
