  3. Hearing the waltz from across the street, I thought about my feet. They had spent so much of my life just getting me to a job, a meeting, to a gray location where I would stare mindlessly. I felt compassion for my feet then. They worked so hard, they deserved a waltz! But they wanted to go to the beach instead, so we quarreled and ended up just going home.

  20. it’s a dance where two people are really passionate, and they move about the room as if in a trance. it is very lovely and beautiful, but also quite hard to learn if you are not very good at it… I saw HSM 3 and troy and gabriella was very good at this dance!

I wish I could swish around in my dress from prom with him in a waltz like Clark Gable or Orson Welles from a time when people didn’t worry about looking cool when they danced but about being elegant and stylish and waltzing up and down the dance floor in cascading waves of dress tulle and coat tails.

  25. I went contra dancing. It’s kinda like a waltz. Waltzes are dances set to music. The music is typically 3/4 time, and the steps to the dance go with the beat of the music. ONE-two-three, ONE-two-three, etc. One song that comes to mind is Beethoven’s Moonlight Waltz.

    the waltz is to old to be considered a dance anymore and is no longer taught in the united states of america.

  37. i like to waltz every now and then, but it definitely doesnt beat any of the nights i have spent with her, dancing to reggea music or bob marley at a party. being the only ones standing up having a good time, in our own world, was quite refreshing.

  38. Oh waltz, how I love thee. That’s a dance, an old one that I don’t have to do. I wish I could waltz. I wish I were graceful enough for any kind of dancing. Even walking gives me tons of trouble. I’m so afraid of falling down when walking. I make sure not to make sharp turns when walking.
