  2. I wanted to run away, but what was I running from? It didn’t seem plausible to run from nothing no matter how much I was terrified of it. I carried on running and didn’t stop until I found what I needed.

Jack straightened his tie, “Which question would you like me to answer first”? “Any one sir, you are now the President of The United States again, in all your glory and power”.

  12. She felt JFK in the room. His energy was electric. She put on a DVD. Jack’s face came towards her. He was speaking to Mr Eisenhower. The crowd moved forward. JFK reached into the crowd and shook a dozen hands.

Jack was saying that, “We will put a man on the moon before this decade is out”. I close the book and remember JFK striding to Air Force One. He had urgent business with Bobby at The White House.

  22. JFK wanted a second term. Everything was in place until he went to Dallas. A lot has been written about JFK. JFK will never be forgotten and he died in 1963. I look at The White House, Obama sits in his old seat, smiling at a bust of JFK in The Oval Office.

Karaoke music with Alex singing all the Elvis hits. I also wanted lots of Caribbean food with Mum and Gran entering the room, wearing the most expensive kaftans.

Mum did not ring me about my wedding video man. The wedding flowers were not ordered. I could not order my doves or the wedding ponies and I only had 3 days to The Big Day!

After all, he’d never robbed a bank or committed any crimes he was aware of. One never knew what might be a crime these days. Purchased too much behind-the-counter sinus medicine? Swiss army knife traveling in the pocket of his cargo pants?

  34. I wanted to be on TV. My part in the latest block buster as the head of a Modelling firm. I check out the models for the catwalk. Pierce is there. He is the top male model. I put on a cool tune and Pierce dances down the catwalk. The lights go on and I am hosting a party with all my karaoke friends. Pierce jumps into the circle and we all howl.

  35. I switched off my laughing puppy. He wanted to laugh too much,rolling over and over on my quilt, hunching up his tail,laughing so hoarsely that I hit the off switch, now puppy sits with my teddy, bunny and doll, so obedient but his sad eyes mean only one thing. He wants to be switched “on” again!!

  36. Wanted; something I’ll never understand nor comprehend. To be wanted is to want someone else just as much. Or, failing that, is to want to get away. To want to be away from it all and to ignore the world’s problems. A girl wants what she used to have, and to face herself, she’ll use anyone and everything close to her.

  39. Mandy wanted to be seen. Red lipstick, the shortest skirt,tall black boots,a lace blouse from a French boutique. When she hit Oxford Circus the traffic stopped and the police hooted her. She carried on walking, claiming the middle of Oxford Street for 10 minutes and she got away with it.
