  1. The desert had always been kind to my family, whenever we needed water we would come across an oasis, an enormous cactus-man who was willing to siphon himself, or a broken down caravan that would trade us water

    Raoul Duke
  2. A wasteland is a space where all sorts of strange stuff piles on and it damages the ecology of our planet because it decomposes in ways that are not good and sometimes people do not dispose of stuff properly so it ends up in the wasteland and this sucks cause it’s damaging our planet which in turn is damaging the future of our children and their children and it’s up to us to stop it

  3. Wasteland, that’s all it was now. Nothing, barren, inhabited by a silly, empty woman next to a silly, empty man, and nothing. She sighed as she closed her eyes, blocking her view of her former home, then turned around and ran.

    Sabrina

  5. a wasteland is a place where you stick crap that is useless and you dont want. a place that garbage lies and is dirty for all to see. A place forgotten by others as there is no importance to the wastelands. They diminish the true beauty around the world and make it an ugly place.

  6. Mordor is a wasteland. Fire, ash, falling brimstone make it almost impossible to travel safely there. The noxious fumes drive away the casual visitor, while the dead marshes drive away everyone else. It’s almost, though not quite, as bad as hiking through Death Valley in July. Just not a good idea- the heat, the unbearable bad odor and total lack of other people.

  7. As she walked down the halls of her former highschool, she couldn’t help but think to herself, ‘Jesus, what happened here?’
The bent lockers and the graffitied hallways seemed to cloud up the sunnier memories she had from a decade prior.
‘Coming to this reunion maybe wasn’t such a good idea.’

  8. A barren place devoid of all life, sounds depressing and it may very well be just that. It may also just be an endless expanse of limitless possibilities. A place no one has ever been and never soiled.

  13. “Just a teenage wasteland.”
That’s how the song went, didn’t it?
    And maybe it is.
But we are young. And we destroy, and we create.
And we make a mess of ourselves and our surroundings,
But oh, you did the same, you know you did.

So please, allow us to continue to make this world a teenage wasteland.
Remind us not to waste our youth and allow us to live.
And I promise, when we’re all grown, we’ll fix what we broke,
And create what we didn’t have.

  31. sadness and depression. the place you go when you’re without hope. despair. you literally waste away, and it’s such a a waste that you do so It’s not ok to be in wasteland… we can do better…. I can do better. Sadness is not for us, it’s not for the short time we have. Wasteland is a place to be despised but not feared… because we can all come back and rejoice in what we have and what we strive for.

  33. Once upon a time there was a wasteland in the middle of no where. People just went and threw things away all the time without a care in the world. But then some people wanted to live there and they had this huge mess to clean up. No one wanted to so they all just started living in the waste. They smelled terrible and had bugs all over them and never washed their hair.
