  12. Wealth, what was it? I doubted ever answer I thought of. Was it the amount of money and stuff you owned, or was it the optimism you had every day? Perhaps it was the knowledge capacity of one’s brain, it sounded like the best idea I’d had yet.

  13. Wealth can refer to the amount of money a person has, the material things they own, or the size of their family and friends. It’s said though that only one can bring true happiness. Sure, money and things are nice but they’re nothing without anyone to share them with.

  17. Wealth is the thing that people strive for, and it could be argued that it causes a lot of evil.
But it is not wealth itsself that causes evil, it can do good in the form of charity. It is human nature that we are greedy and hoard and steel our wealth and gain it through underhand methods and that’s why it causes so much trouble.

    Alastair McCloy
  18. wealth is what we all have even if we don’t realize it. it may not be financial, but it could be that we are wealthy in health, in family, in experiences, or even in spirit. wealth is what we all search for even if we already are rolling in it.

  21. Wealth could be any number of things. Many people have a wealth of knowledge, and others believe in wealth with money, but I don’t think either of these are most important. I think that the most happy person would be the one with a wealth of love and this is what people should be aiming for.

    Kara

  24. While having a nice amount of wealth. My parents Tom and Lilly always were a bit tight with money. When I stuck a broken chicken bone through my little brothers throat when he was 8 (I was 23) they got frustrated and the concept of money came up. Tom said “You best hope your brother survives this, or else his funeral is gonna be paid from your allowance young man! Now get the fuck in the car and wait for big poppa”

  25. Wealth is nothing more than the accumulation of order. Order accumulated is power and thus wealth beccomes the power of order in the moneyed form of organization. There are ways to beat wealth or to be able to skirt around its sides, but we all agree to accept it because we hope one day to control the order.

The history of money is long and…

  26. Some people have more than me…or at least they think so. I have so much more than them. I have friends that love me. I have the ability to learn about everything. I have no money but I have a good time. Isn’t this what everyone has though? I will never know the meaning of poverty. I will never know how it feels to starve for days. I am blessed. I am thankful. I have all the wealth I will ever need.

  27. People may want to think wealth is overrated, but the truth of the matter is, its not. How can you think that when all around us, money really does buy happiness. Because wealth is a specific number for everyone, its different for everyone. Not everyone needs the same amount of money to be happy, but I can guarantee that if you had absolutely no money and were living on the streets that you wouldn’t be happy.

    Stephanie
  28. wealth is a thing that is totally misunderstood I believe. Some believe that they must amass large quantities of money to be wealthy. I see wealth as a characteristic of life. If you have love, friends, family, a career, the ability to care for yourself, you are wealthy. It doesn’t take money to make wealth. It takes a good life. Life is what you make of it. Your search for money may lead you from wealth rather than to it.

  34. Wealth.

it’s so much more than just the material wealth I have.

Sure, I’m the rich asian girl.

But I’m wealthy in more than that. That’s just a label you can apply to me, which, while it fits, doesn’t tell you everything.

I’m wealthy. In friends. In intelligence. In minutes I’ve lived. It’s how you use it that makes it better.
