welcoming. Hm. it’s when you go to the dog kennel to pick up your two year old lab, and he runs and jumps on you, proceeding to slather your denim capris in mud from the rain that had just fallen. he welcomed me.. it was the best welcoming.

She did not welcome him with open arms. In fact, it was more of a pout, back turned, hands over her ears. He had brought flowers, a bottle of wine. Shed have none of it and she told him so, before she completely shut down.
In his defense, all he did was to answer honestly when she asked if the pants made her look fat.

I am desperate for attention.
The block is practically empty, so they know it’s me. I’ve been alone for as long as I can remember; this is my last resort of desperation.
I haven’t heard a knock at my door for so long. Even these menacing policemen are welcome.

Opening the door, I could smell the softly burning incense drifting in through the indoor window. I knew it came from the kitchen of my best friend. His mom was sure to be making some new excellent recipe, and I was glad, because my mom had told me I could stay for dinner. I was always welcome there.

There are many ways to welcome someone into your life . Perhaps the most controversial way is to actively discourage them from being welcomed by you. How does one do that?

It was the greatest feeling in the world. The joy of finally being accepted somewhere. They were all welcoming me. It was still ironic that I only got to feel that great feeling after my own death.

i really dont think welcoming is a great indication of an emotion, or characteristic can I say? someone can not have a characteristic of welcoming allll he time and therefor would it not be more of a mood. You should say the person is feeling welcoming, not the person is welcoming. improper! damit!

When I went to the mall yesterday, I was surprised with everyone’s reaction to not seeing me in such a long amount of time. I’d have reacted equally back… but I didn’t. They were overwhelming. I like the smell of the mall- popcorn, new clothes, you know. And there’s is a faint sound of oldies music playing, most of which I’m ashamed to admit I love.

victims of vice
leaning into the measuring fields
mislaid files
engaging occupations
round the corner
and round the bend
this was your last call
till you called the pleasure
of your plenty

The door was welcoming. I was red with excitement. The people waited behind me.
They were dressed in black and white. I looked at my hands and the moon cried itself into tears for me.
I was dead.
My years of life have gone and my next is about to begin.

One smell that is very welcoming to me is the smell of apple pie cooking in the oven. Yesterday I made an apple pie and the smell is always so welcoming as I walk into room. It smells like home to me.

The home, at first it seemed to welcoming. So warm and cozy. Till night fell. Everything seemed evil, shadow’s danced on the walls. Never before was I scared, something was wrong with this house, just what was it?
