  7. I don’t have a place for it in my life.. It makes my thighs ache badly.. I only drank it when it was sort of socially ‘expected’ of me in my younger adult years… I do remember visiting a winery in 1974 or so and I did ‘like’ the not white/not red wine.. I’ve forgotten its name– Oh well.. I don’t need it to make me fall asleep…

Because of alcohol’s strong ties to our blood however, wine is also a great remedy to heart diseases.

  25. Wine makes me think of whine which I probably do way too much of. When I think of actual wine, I think of red wine in a glass & how classy it makes you look when, in reality, I really prefer beer in my glass – a Mexican beer with a salted rim & a juicy lime accompanied with great friends

    Lani Luza

  32. Delicate and smooth it begins to pour down your throat leaving nothing but the sweet taste of a finely aged grape. As you continue to drink the intoxication begins and the warm feeling inside becomes a brilliant celebration of all the joys in life as your tongue lets loose with all the words you held back on throughout the day’s transgressions. The glass slowly empties and your mind slowly falls further and further behind the veil.

  36. Wine is exactly what I’m drinking right now. The one thing that helps me to unwind at the end of a long work day, or say to help me chill out after being sick for a week. It’s the happiest drunk. Not to mention pretty damn cheap. I prefer gallo cafe, it’s a white zin, but it’s red….that confuses me a bit. Not that I know a lot about wine….but whatever.

    Lexie

  39. It’s not a verb but a lovely noun, full of life and spirit. It’s a miracle from water and elixer in times of trouble. It celebrates. It remembers the blood that gives us sweet grace. Red, white and sometimes bubbly. Always enjoyable.
