  12. I wondered slowly what was going on around me, for suddenly everyone had marshmallow heads. This was peculiar to say the least. Ah, but in a dream, only in a dream is where these crazy sorts of things do happen. Never in real life, only in imagination. Wouldn’t it be nice if we wondered in real life? I think it would. Like Alice in Wonderland..but that ended up being a dream as well. If I had a marshmallow head, that would be epic through and through. Indeed, sir, indeed.

The red “This end up” had faded and blended with the wood to form a darker version of the gray wood. Dust and grit covered the surface as well. I reached down and grabbed one corner and pulled.

    I yanked my hand back as a rusty nail dug into the soft flesh of my index finger. My hasty reflex turned the gouge into a raw tear from knuckle to tip.

  27. I have often wondered why students in high school do not come to their classes prepared. I mean, don’t they get that this is basically their ‘job’ right now and that habits formed in their early life will continue on into adulthood? Sometimes I just get really frustrated with this fact running rampant in the halls of American schools.

  28. I wondered about life, friends, family, and myself. But I’ve come to realize that “Finding yourself” isn’t a one time event, or a moment in time: it’s continuous. It’s the collection of moments, discoveries, friendships, heartaches, all of it.. It’s the ongoing adventure of living. :)

  37. Have you ever wondered about why things happen in the world. Why people fight unjust wars. Or maybe why you fall in love. People fall in love for the most simple and complex things. Have you ever wondered why that happens. What is the trigger to the sould of all humanity. It is a gesture? A look? Or something deeper in the soul that not all of us have a grasp on quite yet. And why do we fight wars? Is it the same simple and complex triggers that reach deep into the human essence and pull it out. Are the triggers for love and war the same? Could they be one in the same?
