  1. Looking is to see. I saw. I stared. I admired. I looked. Notice all are in the past tense because as soon as she was there she was gone.

  2. Look over there! The woman with the book is looking at you. Go over and talk to her. Look, this may be your only chance in this life.

  3. Look, these days people are addicted towards the social networks. This has become quite a phobia as the look and feel of every other social networking site out there is too addictive. But,this should only be used up to some extent.Neither it is hard nor it looks too absurd to use it in a useful way for thyself
and for the world. So,we have to make insights on every possibility of societies growth.

  4. To see with your eyes like trees and food.

    Ellie
  5. “Look! Out there! It’s a ship coming in off the horizon!”

“Grandpa, that’s just a garbage truck. You haven’t been in the Navy for years.”

I pushed my grandfather around as he sailed to save the world.

  6. Mirrors are objects that reflect images. They create a virtual space that lies somewhere behing the glass, a kind of utopia where a space of projection exist. They are also real spaces, heterotopias, because the have a physicality in the real world. From where you stand, you see a representation of you but you can never directly look at youself. That requieres a different kind of pereption, one that happens in an inward mouvement rather than outward. A gaze of the soul.

  7. IT TOOK JUST ONE LOOK FOR MY CURIOSITY TO PEAK FOR YOU…

  8. “Look!” I yell, my eyes wide in astonishment. Sarah doesn’t even turn. “I’m not joking!” Her laugh was the last sound before the creature picked her up.

  9. What made him almost give up in pursuing his career as an architect was the way how the profession itself as a whole became banal and facade-inclined. He believed that a building — like man — should be alive, has integrity, and can stand on its own given identity.

  10. I looked over yonder and saw a rainbow it was a double one and was so pretty

    i am crazy
  11. She glanced over her shoulder to where her sister was pointing. “Yes, I see it, very nice.”
    “Steph, you aren’t looking really.”
“Let me finish this, okay, then I will look.”
She heard Maria huff and flap her arms, frustrated. It wasn’t easy being 9. Steph remembered.

  12. It lasted a beat too long, but she had no idea what it meant or what to do with it. And now he was shuffling things, packing up his car with groceries. Frozen with hope, in the middle of a Wal-Mart parking lot, she stared at his back, hoping he’d look back up at her once again.

  13. So today’s work is ”look.” So I could pretty much just write the word ”look” till the timer goes off. So I could write it for 3:29 seconds. 25, 18,17,16,15,14,13, okay I’m getting bored now. 15. He looked around him as if he had never seen the world before. In truth, he hadn’t for a very long time. He had walked through life in a world that, to him, was perpetually foggy. No amount of coffee or running or meditating could clear the world as much as walking out of the office on his last day had.

  16. The look on Jaida’s face was priceless when she found out we were doing karate on Thursday.

  17. look, it’s not that I don’t want to be here, it’s that I want to be everywhere and nowhere. I can’t focus on this because I keep thinking of something happening somewhere else. i could be travailing the wilds of michigan but instead I’m here, reading up on adventures for someone else.

  18. “Look up” he repeated. “Look up, I’m right here, look up.”
My eyes stayed fixed on my feet.
I couldn’t look. He was gone and I knew it. He knew it too, but he couldn’t let go.

  20. “Look!”
“Annie, be careful,” Shoal said. “That place is dangerous.”
“But look at the lights,” she gasped in wonder, her young eyes glistened.
“The lights area a trick.” They were. We all knew to ignore the lights to avoid becoming some gnasher’s dinner.
Annie wasn’t listening. I knew Halesh and his gang prowled the streets in search of us, which meant we needed to stay hidden, but the darn child stumbled to her feet, eyes reflecting the glow of the gnasher, and left the shadows, arms stretched to the creature. I cursed under my breath.

  21. Alright well look here then. Look over there and up and down and left and right and oh no you’ve missed it now it’s just gone behind that bush just there. There? Yes, there. Don’t you see it. Why don’t you just look over there. Look, look with your special eyes. My brand?! No, that thing that I was telling you about earlier. Now it’s gone and I too must go. But look.

  23. she whispers, pointing out the yellow against the blue
as giggles, shrieks, the soft crescendos and dips of conversation
set the backdrop of something special,
a moment of cheeks pressed against the glass,
    eyes wide
    little fingers splayed
    palms against water-not-water,
as bubbles and fins and manta rays spin
softly, quickly, a moment of suspension,
    a moment,
    a dance,
in the space of a breath.

  24. look at me in the eyes,

as i look into you i see that we love each other,
    you make me smile
    you make me feel good,
when we look at each other.

  25. Down at the end of Australia’s coastline, the afternoon southerlys hit you like a whip in the face. Words are lost in determined air currents and even your thoughts are carried out to sea. You are just another empty shell rattling around on the sand, beholden to the eternal movement of the tides.
The locals used to tell her that if you walked to the very end of the bay and look out towards Tasmania that the whale spirit could capture your soul and send it roaring high into the air through its blowhole so that you would always be part of the universe.

  26. my eyes view the world
    with its intricate rules
    but what is true
    and what is never there
    we will never know

  27. Look! Out there! There’s a sailor with golden beetles in her hair. They scurry as she hoists the silver sheets, and scales the ivory mast so that the sun makes the little boat glitter like it emerged from an oceanic treasure chest. Listen! The bubbling from the foam is singing. The mermaids all coo to the sailor and attempt to woo her. She is oblivious to their crooning. She is in love with the sea.

    Belinda Roddie
  28. I remember looking at her hurt. I would see her and immediately look away because all I saw were memories that would never happen again. Memories that were just that. Something only in my mind.

  29. “Look out!”
    But it was too late.
The spear flew through the air and launched itself through Bishop’s chest with a sickening sound.

  30. her eyes are staring back at me and i see this immense depth and character that can only be established by establishing a connection that delves beyond a casual acquaintance. everything is right in the world.

  31. “Look,” he says, “Across the channel. The bright lights coming from the city yonder.”

I don’t look. I know what he’s talking about — I’ve seen the view from my bedroom window a thousand times before. Tonight the city is the same, but I’ve changed. I gather up the heap of clothes on the floor and pretend he didn’t say a word.

  32. look around, and take in what surrounds. breathe in without haste, and allow the accumulated thoughts and feelings to escape on the way out. be present in your posture and in every moment, and relinquish everything else.

  33. Look at the sky. Look at the ground, at your feet, at your surroundings. How do you know you exist? Is there something to prove it? See, I think the reason I have trouble with reality is that I can’t find any prof, any grounding.

  34. Look! The mother took her child’s head in her hand and pointed it at the flock of dolphins, her roughness masking the excitement she had at showing her child this wonder of nature.

  35. “-at the difficulties that he faces,” she said, sighing.

It didn’t seem to me as though there was anything all that difficult in what Howard faced. He was, at the end of the day, successful and intelligent. I’d known far more people who were in far worse straits –

And yet, there was something true about what she said.

  36. “Look!” the man told her, his face split into a wide grin. But he did not need to say a word. The little girl could clearly see the enormity of the scene in front of her. She rubbed her eyes and dared to look again, but it was so unbelievable, it was like a dream. A town made out of the sugariest sweets was sprawled in front of her. It all looked miniature from her point on the top of the verdant valley. There were gingerbread houses decked with silvery and pink frosting, and bright colored gumdrops lined the roofs and eaves. Pathways made out marbled candy canes connected the homes, and a small river of warm chocolate bubbled lazily under a frosted yellow bridge. The people strolled, unhurriedly through the town, and nodded to all they met. A group of pink-cheeked, bundled up children skated on a thick sheet of light blue ice, and another group of older kids snowboarded down a powdery slope on large graham crackers. Their sparkling laughter could be heard even from the top of the valley.

  37. The mirror is the same as he remembers. The cold iron frame, the crack running down the middle, and the rust spots dotting the surface are all there. It reflects him, the room, and the door behind him. Everything seems normal, unless you understand that the door does not exist. And this door that shouldn’t exist is slowly opening.

  38. When I looked at you the first time

I saw energy runnning through you
and when I looked the second time I caught a glimpse of your not so perfect face
When I looke at you in my memory flaws got bigger
but as i met you again I was caught up in wour whirlwind and all i see when i look i how beautiful you are.

  39. It’s not hard to see, Ono knows. But then again, he’s the ‘keenest of sight’ of the Lion Guard. So, maybe this one situation isn’t exactly as obvious as he’s making it out to be… Doesn’t stop him from thinking it is, of course.

  40. Look at the dog. Look at him run. He is on his way to the vet. He is getting a shot. Look at how big the shot is. It is huge. Look at the dog whimper. He is so scared. I love my puppy. Look at how cute the puppy is.
