  1. A gust of wind swept through my hair and left some caressing my face. It reminded me of some divine catharsis

  2. The gust of wind shook the household. “You don’t have to be so dramatic about it, ” Elsie said barely looking up from her book, “You know how my mother would yell at me if I just slammed doors whenever I was upset. Just take a deep-actually no, bad idea-take a seat and calm down.”

She waited until she saw the whirlwind of leaves slow down and drop to the floor. They really needed to dust.

She felt the coolness of the Wind next to her as it settled next to her as a small breeze. “What do you do instead?” It whispered-yelled. Eventually, she would have to teach it that bodied things do not like words blown directly into their ears but now was clearly not the time.

“I write poetry,” she said, “maybe we should get you a windchime or something.”

  3. I don’t know what the hell that is.
    Gusto?

“I like the way you savour it. With such gusto.”
    “Shut up.”
“No, I mean it. I like when people enjoy stuff.”
“I don’t know. I guess enjoying is so commonplace for me it’s weird to think about it.”
“Yeah, you start analyzing happiness when you lack it, right?”
    “Exactly.”

  4. Strong winds blew through an already desolate battlefield, only it’s howls were heard from the safety of the hilltop above. No one could believe this was the work of one man and dread filled the heart of the one just awakened.
