I positioned the lamp above my head, so I could read when I was lying in bed. Then I could just reach up and turn it off when I was ready to sleep. This seems kinda boring to tell you about it, but when I hung the lamp there, it made a difference in my reading style and helped me to sleep on time.

After much searching and much thinking I found an Etsy lamp that was made in Ukraine. It was important to me that whatever I got him for that particular birthday be made in Ukraine. He seemed to love it. I love it myself.
