I looked up.
No. This wasn't happening. It couldn't.
I could barely see the light from down here.
Fuck my hands, my hands!
Blood streaked the rugged stone walls from where I had torn my fingernails out in a desperate attempt to climb.
I checked my watch. Again.
Fuck I was nervous. I couldnt't stand flying. Can't stand it all.
Ugh. I Could taste this morning's bagel making it's way back up at the back of my throat.
Disgusting.
Airport food is the worst.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
"What...what is that?" I managed to sputter out.
"I...I'm not sure."
We looked on as it rose from the ocean, a mere thirty feet away from us.
It was absolutely colossal.
"OH, wow!"
"Can I have that one? Please? Pleeeeeaaaase???"
I looked at my daughter. She was absolutely trembling with excitement. Her smile was beaming as she pointed to the puppy.
"He's so perfect!"
