i could taste his flesh between my teeth, the metaly flavor lingering in my mouth, reminding me of the horrible thing it had just done.
all i could think of was how beautiful the lights looked as the truck came barreling at me. euphoria and wonder. broken glass, broken bones. i was screaming, it was beautiful.
suddenly a loud bang rang threw out the car, my eyes shot open and i screamed as the car swerved out of control. the tires had exploded!
the band was roaring in my ear. around me the crowd swarmed, ignited by the music flowing though our ears. this, i though, is what being free is.
