the evidence is there, etched in fine white lines across my skin faint and full of shame but evidence of what? a sorrow that was likely never there? a wandering mind, poisoned by boredom? not a cry for attention no hell no anything but that hide it away again the evidence shameful evidence but why did i put it there in the first place?
