It was a view like no other, Jin liked to think.
Moonlight shining in through a crack in the curtain, shining a halo around a head of blond hair, a sleeping face peeking from behind it's curls.
It was beautiful.
"Get on my level son!"
"...she really just said that, didn't she."
Nodding her head in embarrassment, Bekah nodded solemnly, bringing her hand up to pinch the bridge of her nose.
"Jin, for the last time, stop trying to be a 'gangsta.'"
Jin stared at the kettle resolutely, waiting for the water to start boiling.
One minute. Two. Five. Ten.
All she wanted was some tea. It was cold outside, her throat hurt, and all she really wanted to do was kiss Lizzy senseless, and she couldn't.
All because the water wouldn't boil for her tea.
Jessica wonders about a lot of things. School, money, her family, the life ahead of her. She wonders so much that it isn't until someone enters her life that she realizes that by wondering about the future so much, she's missing out on the wonders that the world is giving to her right then and there.
Tempting.
Jessica was so tempted, staring at the beauty in front of her. It wasn’t fair really. Someone that beautiful to be so achingly out of reach, just shy of her outstretched fingertips.
A beauty like that was meant to be looked at, not touched.
Yet she wanted to touch.
