I'm higher than I've ever been. My knees shake, but my feet a firmly on the stilts that keep me tall, out of your reach. I'm above you, your head, and your ego. You can't get me now. You can't hurt me.
I tumble. I tumble, stumble, fall down the path I know I shouldn't take. I let the whispers of negativity guide me and the weight disappear.
I've stopped taking my pills. It was an accident at first. Now my heart is strung from a noose struggling for freedom. I just want the life put back in me.
