Everybody has an internal estimate of their own worth, it is usually wrong. Good people often undervalue themselves. They feel they have lesser worth because they are not movie stars, rich or popular on social media. True self-worth comes from within, from knowing that we are not defined by our outward appearances, by the number of friend or followers that we have online. Our own worth is (in my opinion) measured by our actions, by who we are in the world and how we treat others.
Zombies are seriously misunderstood, unable to talk, mostly cause their teeth are falling out and their lips fallen off, all they want is to give someone a little hug, maybe nibble on an ear or two and people set them on fire, cut their heads off and just generally run round having a panic attack and screaming, poor misunderstood creatures
Everything is a matter of perspective, you look at the world in a sad angry way and all you will see is sadness and anger, gloom and doom. If you look out with suspension and paranoia, it will look back. If you look at the world with hope, light and joy (and a minor layer of paranoia) then what you get back will be mostly good times. :D
Timing is everything, without the proper timing your heartbeat would kill you, your car engine would shoot pistons all over the landscape and the jokes you tell would fall flat, although truth be told my jokes always have that problem
Crystals have always interested me, they have unique properties and can often be used to heal.
So much variety, I don't know where to start
Wicked Witches should not own large ovens, you would think they would be more careful especially around homicidal abandoned children, children who seem to think it's okay to wander around taking bites out of people houses. After all it's hardly good manners just to wander up to someones house and take a large bites out of the doormat
The pointed look she gave him, seared through to his very soul.
"Well" she said, "What's your answer, What do you want?"
He looked backed into those deep vibrant green eyes and gulped
Oh God, he couldn't decide, why was it so hard to decide . . .
Oranges or Mandarins, he really hated grocery shopping
Hollow, an empty shell, nothing inside. Hollow empty people rushing about trying to fill themselves up with anything they can good or bad. External promise, crack it open and there's nothing there.
The cry of an infant (be it human or animal) the one noise guaranteed to cut through any amount of noise. We are all programed to respond in some way and recognize the cry as a notification of need whether it be food, cleanliness or closeness. Some of us are just really good at ignoring the sound.
The middle child, middle ages, middle age, middle income. Halfway between the first and last the middle is always changing it has the ability to become better or worse. The middle of anything is always going places. It's good to be the middle :)
