Success is the measure of value that we give to ourselves, and that other people impose upon us; however, what we may believe is highly non-consensual, and therefore the success of one person may not be the success of another. Thus, the measure of success relies around various levels of beliefs resulting from different values and experiences.
It was Monday. We had just arrived home from the store when it was sitting on the doorstep. It called to us. We knew what it was, and we knew what they wanted. We died a little inside.
We went along the path, twisting and turning throughout the countryside. We came across a beaten down portion, very old, and very used. With nothing else to do, we set out to explore it, leaving our old lives behind.
