Paperclips keep things together, yet when they don't and are just lying around, I can't help but play with them. I love bending them out of shape and then trying to put them back into their original shape. I used to love those boxes with the magnetic opening that held many paper clips. I'd always turn it over and see if I could perhaps break magnetism and make some fall out.
