She spun in a circle. definitely not her style, but she did so anyway. she leaped over the fence, and she was as free as a butterfly. She frolicked through the field until darkness swept over the land. Then she realized she had to leave. There would be a security sweep of the Neighborhood, and she would be missing.
she hopped the fence once more, but was stopped on the other side by the love of her life. his name was Blake. blake told her to hide. confused and disoriented she ran for cover with him. he held her as they hid in silence. a sickening blast shattered the air, then stillness. Blake lifted his head and saw what had happened. Bombs. right overhead. this was the job of General Rovingshire. and he wanted revenge. he led her away, back to the fence, and once they were over again, the didn't look back. they were alone in the world. but most importantly, they were free.
Blake said to her, "I love you my dear little Ashley. and i'm glad it was you i saved."
she looked into his eyes. she nodded. he moved in and kissed her gently. when he pulled away, too soon for her liking, she realized how much she had longed for this moment.
"I... I..." she started.
"No need to say anything. I love you, and that's all there is to it. We are the only ones left from our neighborhood, so let's make the best of it."
she nodded and they ran off into the darkness.

kazuko stood, her blood glistening in the moonlight. she couldn't hear anything, it was if she was deaf. She screamed as a wave of pain hit her. she dropped to her knees once again and passed out. when she woke up she was on a cot and her eyes were covered with a bandage, although she had a feeling she couldn't see anyways. She sat up, and as a wave of dizziness hit her she decided to lie down again. then Ichiro, who claimed to be a medic came to her. he stood over her and said a few words that sounded like gibberish to Kazuko's ears. then she felt an immense burning pain in her eyes. The bandages burned away. she clutched her hands over her face as "the storm" took over. she felt a wave of knowledge flow through her and she passed out once again.
Akira stared at the stacks of training pads his dojo kept on hand. today he would leave it all behind. he would betray Kazuko. but why? "why do i feel this way!" he shouted. "why do i feel like i must kill Kazuko? I...I... I love her. but the love i feel is forbidden by the laws of this dojo. what are these thoughts of evil, this shadow consuming me?" he grabbed the ornate sheath of his sword and mounted it on his back. "i can't ignore this. I'm have to kill her." so he headed off to where Kazuko was meditating to kill her.
she had stacks of paperwork to go through. as the empress her people expected the most from her. she had to sign treaties, contracts, and much much more. she needed a break, and so the young empress ran away. it wasn't the first time she ran away. the first time was when she was six and she ran away from her "father's" house. she went to go lie with the monks in a monastery. they treated her better than Emperor Ichiro.
so she ran away, knowing they would never find her. she had the appropriate stealth and combat training from her years at the order of the black tiger's dojo.
she ran for days, but then decided to return. her people needed her, and she needed them.
the world was corrupted, resources were few. the empress, empress Xela, did not want to have mines and iron oil rigs, she wanted to conserve the natural beauty of her planet. then one day the gods gave back to her desolate lands, and the harvests became plenty and resources were once again bountiful, but that was until the emperor of their neighboring planet destroyed it all. he was ruthless. he took control over Xela's planet, and iron oil rigs were built to drill for the fuel for his war machines and mines were dug to find coal to power his other machines. the land was in a state of weariness and Xela was chained up in prison. there was no hope. people were in despair and so the emperor killed them off one by one, until no one was left.
they were celebrating her birthday, the empress. she was turning 28. the entire kiungdom was in attendence. she looked up.
"my people, you don't need to celebrate my birthday like this." she said.
"you are worthy of our appreciation"
the rogue king stepped into the center of the courtyard. his half brother, zachary did the same.
"no my love. a shootout is not the way to settle this! think about our daughter!" said Zachary's wife, who was on the side.
"i have to defeat him, he has caused you too much pain." said zachary.
they drew their weapons, the rogue king's obviously better than zachary's.
The rogue king pulled the trigger and zachary did the same. zachary was hit with a silver bullet, and the rogue king was left unhurt.
his wife ran to him. "Zachary! no please don't die!" she said, beginning to cry.
"i am sorry, dear. please forgive me. my half brother is a evil man. and he causes you pain. don't you wan't revenge? he killed your people, every one you knew." said Zachary.
"no i don't" replied his wife.
"goodbye." he said as he took his final breath.
