The car chugs along silently over the oceans of waving grass. We drive past the exploding yellow wattle trees, away from the purple defined mountains and part the car at the gate. Our Sunday drive around the country is over and its now time to walk past the world of beauty, and into the world of reality.
Shimmering on the ground it lay, the Ruby from the cave. "That's it!" exclaimened Marcus. Even after all the other fake rubies he had found on his travels through the Indies, he had a strong conviction that this was the one he had been searching for.
"You've been warned." Read the letter that Michael received in the mail that overcast Tuesday in May. He had received several of these letter of late.
"Buy this one, purple makes your eyes look big." Annie pressed her friend. "You know I hate purple." Sarah replied haughtily. "Blue, then?"
I crouch down in the bushes, spying on the enemy soldiers. "They're coming up the hill." I whisper to myself as the enemy march up the road. A twig cracked under my foot and the leader of the troops head spun around instantly and searched the scrub we were hiding in.
Its Christmas time and the sun is shining over the world and everything seems bright and happy. Friends and family are everywhere to celebrate. Carollers sing Christmas carols at our doorsteps and we cook biscuits to give out to our neighbours. The world seems happy.
The jeans i bought the other day were quite average. Skinny leg with a cool pocket design. They could of been bought anywhere. But i like them! They are pretty cool and make me feel warm.
By bank account is empty. With such disappointment I look at the ATM screen and see 82 cents staring up at me. I seem to use my money so quickly. in a matter of minutes its all used up.
I have no idea what on earth it is. I'm guessing its something to do with cars though. Just a guess.
