The truck was stuck. There's no getting around that fact. James hadn't expected this, never would have thought that the mud around here was so damn stubborn. He checked his phone - no bars. He flicked his worn zippo and sighed.
As the smoke filtered lazily out of the gun barrel, the young lad cringed against the brick wall. He'd never witnessed a murder before - but he would again. Very soon. There came a steely click as the man worked the hammer of the revolver, reading another round.
