Despite the saddness we all faced, we laughed. We smiled. I saw him look over at me for approval, like if it was okay if he laughed. Then he laughed too. During the funeral he didn't cry. I wondered why. I wanted him to cry. Was I just overreacting in the fact that this was killing me?
