Like in marching band, that one year, when all the brass played the notes, and the rest of the band yelled, "CHARGE" and everyone thought it was so funny. Well, the adults, anyway. Because of the credit card joke. And the buses. I always remember the marching band buses when we went on trips, and the smell of the exhaust. Even here, in South Korea, years later, I smell exhaust and still think of those trips.
