It really doesn't matter how far away I am. I can be millions of miles away and i can still feel you sitting next to me, so near your warmth tickles my side. That's what happens when you carry someone with you in your heart.
When you think about it, in the grand scheme of things, all these things I've made, what are they worth? Anything at all? Honestly, it was all just a waste of time although it seemed so important then.
Sure, she was only a maid, mopping and sweeping and all of that, but she could work her way up, couldn't she? She would get there, eventually. Someday, she could have this old house and a hundred maids!
She finished sewing the quilt, looking out the window with tired yet happy eyes. She was a never-been-kissed old maid, but she had made sure she would never be lonely.
What's wrong with kids on leashes? Have you ever felt the heart attack that comes from looking down and noticing that Junior has disappeared? Some kids do need it. So don't judge.
