She moved swiftly like an autumns. One foot in front of the other, like a synchronized dance. Trembling fingers on varnished wood. Darkness shrouding the house in melancholy. She traversed the parlor with ease. Crawling into her bed at a time too late to be night. And too early to be morning.

they were brothers from the beginning. he remembered mark in all his glory. the autumn light filtering through his auburn hair. the smile on his face looking down at him as they kissed throughout the seasons of love. they were tied together. forever by love.

what began as a slight shower turned in the worst storm Chicago had seen in a decade. he sat on the windowsill with the flashing lights and noise surrounding him. embracing nature's wickedness, he sat, understanding.

she looked inside herself and saw nothing. she was just a shell of a girl she used to know. she was beautiful to others and disgusting to herself she shed her tears and created an ocean of sadness around her she floated on the delicate surface creating ripples of a girl she used to know.

the noise of the airport filled his heart with sadness. he was about to leave it all behind. all the times of pain, all the times of sadness. all of his joys and belongings. a new beginning, the next four years. the only things that kept him afloat through high school. dreams and nightmares mix, become a melange of emotional uniformity.

the sweet smell of spring lives within our hearts. the unrelenting waves of blossoming passion stirs. whoever enters this place embraces the peace of truly equal societies. Smell the violets. smell the roses. Smell the freedom that lives within us.
