I was in band throughout middle school. I played the clarinet. It was nice to have a place with people just as awkward and weird as myself. I even joined the honors band, but that was mostly to outsource to hotter boys from different schools. I remember going to musicals with the band, and copping a feel in the dark theater while watching "The Music Man" and falling in love.
