it was rolled up revealing arms that were covered in tattoos and scars. I couldn't bare to look, my insides were screaming at me, but i couldn't pull my eyes away no matter how disgusted I was. On top of the scars and the tattoos were deep incisions, they were bleeding out, pooling on the carpet

she had a way of freezing time. maybe it was the way her steps were slow and graceful and easy, or maybe it was that look in her eyes. the one that told everyone in the room that she knew exactly what kind of power she had over them.

this window faces the sky. just straight up, through mess and clutter and disaster. it breaks through into this enormous expanse of white, an unimaginable mass of infinite. your eyes soar and race against winds, away from heartache and tears and stings of the past.

he creeps through dreams and secrets, jumping from one whisper to the next, without the slightest hesitation or doubt. They never notice, or they're far too wrapped up in their heads to notice his little frame, dancing about in the shadows, chanting and dancing to the rhythm of broken hopes and dreams.

value and esteem and power. they were wealthy and wanted everyone to know. they saw themselves as beyond humanity, somewhere between god like entities and The Doctor. They weren't really of this world anyway, and so the way they were, the way they are, did not seem to bother anyone at all.

i can feel the water and the blue and the cold. it isn't chaotic and it doesn't sound like white noise. it's just quiet and serene and almost silence, except for the drums in my ears. 2 beats over and over and over again. they cut through the chill and remind me.

it'll seep into your skin without you knowing and you won't hear it's subtle whispers until it's already taken over completely. You'll try to squeeze out of it's clutches but you'll be too weak by then and all you'll know is what they want you to.

from here to there, and then somewhere far away. to witness the earth fly past as if spinning insanely and to breath in air that is rushing past too quickly.

to live and to love and be happy. that's how you succeed. you succeed when you're so full of love and laughter that it's pouring out of your entire being, when the people around you hold your hands for as long as it takes for you to live each and everyone of your dreams.

repeat this. hold it in your head and play it over and over and over again. never let it go, because you can't. you need to play it back as often as possible to constantly remind yourself that you're worth something. Repeat it, and over analyse it and let it drain everything.
