and I punished myself
for all those thoughts
and all those feelings
that haunted and daunted me
but then I realised
that they make me stronger
and when I look back
it's actually not that bad
it was never that bad
and it will never be that bad
just stay with me and I will be fine
I still remember that summer afternoon
when we were trying a new recipe
we were both covered in flour
and then you surprised me
with a bunch of flowers
and a simple question
"will you marry me?"
and if the pilgriming vine takes you
who will be there for you?
and who will be there to save you?
you are there dreaming and fearing,
but the truth is that you haven't got a plan B (or even a plan A)
there is no point in flying, if you can't even run first

what do I think about it all? well...

sometimes the real difficulty is to see
the beauty in the simple things in life
