The fleet of soldiers charged from teh shoreline towards the opposing army. One by one they were swatted out like ants flying into a lamp. But no matter the blood shed the bravery pushed each solder step by step screaming into the furious void. Finally they broke through the first line and the fleet set out what they began to aim for.
We walked for miles and miles until we finally reached the geyser the old man had told us about. It was large and round and steaming all the way above our heads with a heavy warmth that pushed us away as much as it pulled us into its mouth. I walked closely to its edge and looked down and saw in its face a reflection of myself. I jumped in and forgot how hot a geyser can be. I never came out. How am I writing this?
I had finally gotten the courage to ask Melissa out to a bar in West End this Saturday. Today was the day and the bar looked bad. I went in and ordered the hardest drink I could: the mezcal. She became much more beautiful after that. I on the other hand, a bit more ugly.
