optimism only reminds me of the sick state this country is in. children are told they can be whatever they might apply them self to be because they are god's gift to the world. teenage girls are told they can take advantage of any man by accusation of rape. optimism is a crutch for those who can't expect the worst and be surprised by the best. cynicism lets people feel naturally about what happens to them: the worst.
