get under my umbrella-ella-ella-eh-eh-eh. seriously though, that song ruined the word umbrella for me. from now on I will always only use the Afrikaans word for umbrella, which is 'sambreel'.

he was most insistent that all the clothes be made of silk. THey couldn't understand this demand as the climate of the city would surely make short work of such fabric.

I have that fam iliar sinking feeling that what's around the corner may not be pleasant. we had hoped to avoid this but there was no getting arou nd the fact that we were about to crash.
