All aboard the ship of failure. A board drifts aimlessly in the sea. A bored child stares at it.

Aboard? Wait a minute. Didn’t we have this same topic yesterday? That’s not fair, is it? Doesn’t sound right to me. You think that it’s just a mistake or that the topic doesn’t change often? I don’t really know what to think on this.

we went aboard the ship and the captain told us that there was a storm up ahead. In spite of this we still decided to go on the cruise because we had planned for this day since 6 months before we got married. We were determined to have the perfect honeymoon.

The train slowly pulled out of the station,
The smoke trailing behind,
Leaving the rubbled town smoking in its wake.
He looked out the window,
Towards the horizon,
Hoping he could see the rise of a better tomorrow,
But he knew in his heart this train was on its way to hell.
He chose to stay on it anyway.
They were going aboard a canoe to take them downstream, and the river was more calm than they had supposed it would be at this time of year. But the leaves were of red and yellow colours, and that calmed their nerves until they came to the overhanging trees that seemed to drape themselves right into the river.
Come aboard, come see what this little ship does to me. Let’s eat fish for breakfast, fish for lunch, fish for dinner, and fish for dessert. All you have to do is bring the chips.
I was aboard the big white ship. looking over the side into the ocean I see a dolphin
GABE S.
I was tossed around and around,
like a rag doll.
Someone like you’ve never seen.
Nor heard.
That’s where my real talents lie.
Listen to me moan, and cry and wail and sing to the sky.
I will tempt you, taunt you, take you into my soul and wrap yours around mine.
Then throw you overboard.
Into the rocks and the craggy open spaces of the sea.
Perhaps another ship will invite you aboard or a friendly whale searching for a companion.
Your ship is mine and the rocks of my mothers.
I sing for her.
all aboard she said as the men stood at the dock and looked up at her with confusion in their eyes. Why does she want us on the ship so soon? Can’t we stand here and have a few moments without her ordering us around. They growled. She laughed and turned on her heels to march off with delight. They just don’t understand, she thought. If they did, they would hop right on this ship right now and we sail off to our destination.

The train from Des Moines to Chicago isn’t reliable. If there is bad weather or a lot of rain, they often shut it down and put you on a bus instead. But I don’t buy a train ticket to ride a bus. It isn’t the same, even if they say “all aboard.” Nothing on a bus can replace that feeling of anonymous freedom that a train gives.

a ship in the middle of the ocean in a world of make-believe and fantasy. Get on board with the idea and don’t even think, just be, just be and just live, live, live. The sea is a ball, the sea moves and turns and never stops, always flowing. All aboard who’s coming aboard. Don’t even think about missing it.

“Are you getting aboard or what?”
She shook her head and took a deep breath. I’ve always hated these things, she thought.
“If we’re going to find him, we have to work together. Like it or not.”
“Fine.” She climbed into the sidecar. “But the moment you pop this thing into the air, I’ll crack your feckin skull.”
“Fair enough.”
