Every year my family buys an enormous christmas tree. Not a regular tree but a 20 foot tall tree in which we adorn ridiculous amounts of lights. It’s a terrible amount of work but so worth it for the memories.

He sat mightily in front of his people. Adorned in the traditional cloak of the village, he felt like a ruler, even though he technically was not. He knew the day would come, when he would abdicate the current king, but as for now, he felt the part. Every vein in his body pulsed with pride.

she was adorned beautifully. her slender wrists both covered with jeweled bangles, so many that it almost looked as if it would be heavy to wear. on her feet were delicate chains that made a soft tinkling as she danced to the heavy drums.
The King was adorned with velvety, scarlet robes encrusted with jewels that sparkled like stars. Your attention was drawn to his gilded crown and his trustworthy smile.
She walked out of the room adorned with the most beautiful clothing and accessories money could buy. She walked down the long hall and her date could only stare in awe as she was the more beautiful than what she was adorned with.

Crowns of gold and bottles of whiskey, spinning round heads of pale beauty and landing in them darkened plots to do away with order and pathos. Adorned with pure cold eyes…
I honestly don’t know the meaning of adorned but I’m thinking it has something to do with beauty or something of that sort. Beauty is a weird word, so is beautiful. If it wan’t for Jim Carrey I wouldn’t have ever known how to spell Beautiful!
Jules May
Her braid was adorned with ribbon. Pink ribbon. And someone had stuck a few lilacs within the twists for good measure. The dress was fluffy and bounced as she tromped down the path. She carried a basket in one hand, and we all hoped her shoes didn’t get too muddy.

he adorned her with the only thing he had: his words. language. vernacular in love. and she listened, intently, never doubting his earnestness or honesty. he adorned her with jewels and gems and robes of gold in all of his loving words that he could spill out of his soul

A precious stone adorned her neck.
“Think nothing of it,” said the wife.
“But I am but a peasant,” the husband pleaded, “wherefrom come across you this stone?”
“Think nothing of it,” the wife repeated. “You’ll be keeping your land, my dearest. Is that not all that matters in a life?”
The husband couldn’t bear to answer no. The wife could think of no other answer but yes.

She comes to me in the wake of my dreams adorned with flowers and laced with the sweetest scent. She is happy; she is bliss. Beautiful in all her glory.

After lots of work, she looked so much better. Her eyes sparkled in the light, her clothes were prettier.
I adorned her hair with flowers.
Painted her lips the color of blood.
I put rouge on her cheeks to simulate life.
Slipped her cold body into the finest of gowns.
And laid next to my lovely lady.
She was so fine and all mine.
She was the most perfect version to be.
If only I could hide the marks my hands had left upon her neck.
Caitlin
She was adorned in very little upon the stage. Jewelry, strands of beads, a few well-placed veils held in place by the placement of strings worn for purpose, to create the illusion of complete nudity. She swayed to the music, hair swinging in gentle accent to the shifts of shoulder, curl and lift of chest, the taunt of hips and thighs, the hungry eyes that beckoned. It barely mattered to her if they watched at all, as long the music sang to her, the dance was all hers. The applause and awestruck gazers were just a bonus.
It only takes a little thought and some unpretentious sentiment to give it my all. Adorned with the of it weight upon my neck. Yes. I think I’m going to slip it off now and hold it in my hands awhile. Eventually it will fall, it will fall, it will fall. And when it drops, I’m going to breathe in so deep that I float away.
She was not worthy of the crown adorned on her head. She received it through tricks and lies, causing the suffering of many others. I will hate myself more and more everyday that I allow her to use that crown for her own immoral wishes.
She grabbed the map and ran out of the house. She knew immediately she would never return. All the memories that adorned her life, all the things that made her who she had thought she was, fell away, leaving a blank emptiness. Now she had to find herself again.

I adorned you with affection and intimacies, personal legacies of my time upon this world that told you it was too short and too sweet. Dragging across your consciousness a whole world of my prior learnings and living.

I have no idea what this means entirely. I think it has something to do with a longing or love or being loved by someone. I know people wish to be adorned or fawned over. Is being adorned the same as being fawned over? I’m not sure. It’s a very interesting word and seems to hold such passion.

I just read a creepy version of Snow White, in which she was portrayed as a vampire. I thought all the while of the Disney full length feature cartoon. I thought of a crown adorned by jewels and jumped immediately to this.
Her dress was utterly littered with gold. Jewels, gems of all shapes and sizes, precious metals and rocks found all throughout the kingdoms and in rare places. And yet, there she stood. Looking in the mirror, eyes squinted as her mother had told her not to look, angry at the reflection.

There were stray pieces of grass in here hair. I noticed. I wondered if she had laid down somewhere. She seemed unconcerned when I asked. Frowned. It made me silent for

The medal adorned her chest like a barnacle adorns a disused boat. I hated her, I hated it, I hated this competition, I hated my life’s work, hate hate hate. That medal was meant for me, meant to be mine, meant to hang upon my chest for all to see and admire, NOT HERS. Why did whatever powers that be design it so? Why had fate slotted her for greatness, not me?

“You sat on an iron throne adorned with the naught blood and sweat of our people and you wonder why they hate you? Why they drop to their knees and thank the gods that your reign has come to an end?” I asked, my voice colored with disbelief. Was it possible? Could she REALLY be that naive? Or was she just that blind?
“How DARE you speak that way to me!” she said, rising to her feet. “I am your queen!”
I advanced on her, pointing towards the balcony with a steady hand. “Take a good, hard look around, Saurana. You’re not the queen of ANYTHING anymore.”
