  1. I was waiting for her to come out of the ugly old building. She was taking longer than usual. I was starting to get worried when she ran out, the bag in hand. I smiled at her triumphantly as she hopped in the car. I could hear the sirens in the background. We successfully robbed our 9th bank this month.

  2. Banken sind die Bösen. Banken stehen an Flüssen.

  3. Banks, eh. What canmI say? They serve a,purpose, though they often fail atmcusto,er service. They also tend to put shareholders ahead of customers. I am both a,shareholder, a small one and a customer, so I can see both, sides odmthe issue. Of a bigger issue to me is whey the heck this ipad keyboard inserts m’s and n’s when imtry to usemthe, space bar.!!!! See what I mean.?

  5. And there I was. The line was long, but I waited, oh yes, I waited. It was like torture, waiting waiting waiting. I could feel the cold sweat forming on my brow, the moths in my stomach making me sick. I finally came to the teller.
“Hello. I am a bank robber.”

  6. The banks of the river were full of muck. Unfortunately, the rain had sent everything to the spot I usually sat at, so I walked on down the river until I found a spot in the bank that wasn’t filthy.

  7. Banks are ok when you’re trying to save money. I wish they were open on Sundays and didn’t have such strict schedules. I don’t drive and I take the bus everywhere. I have to cross a main road to get to my bank so it would be nice not to have to worry about timing. I suck at saving money.

  8. Fritz had robbed three banks so far, but none of them had proved a challenge. He wanted that high, that adrenaline rush, that near to passing out thrill he could only get when he pointed his weapon at someone and they pointed theirs back. He stopped his car in front of Continental Exchange.

    Candice
  9. There we were sitting in front of his fairly attractive women who was much older than I but was still wrinkle free. She had long curly hair that glowed with a red hue in the setting afternoon sun. She kept smiling at me and I could not help but think that she was a fan of the krabby patty.

  11. Banks were my first experience with the concept of love. My mother and I walked into the Wells Fargo on main street and waited to be greeted. They knew how to spot fresh meat from a mile away and perhaps my sponge bob square pants shirt was a dead giveaway that I had no idea what I was doing.

  12. banks. the first go getter. they take the money, contain it, and multiply it for the better of the top people in society. the’re no limit to what they can do with it… locked away in unimaginable cirmustances and prtected by the law.. the law, controlled my old politicians that have no sense of the commonsense. banks for the better of the people who pay them well, and keep the country at its very lowest. lower the interest rates, will you? lure in the guilty conscience, and the rest is history.

He started the engine and zoomed off, grinning. He didn’t think robbing banks would ever be his living, he only ever planned to do it once in desperation, but this was his third and it looked like he was going to get away with this one too.

  15. I have some money in a bank. Going into banks always scares me. I feel like going in with my hands up. “I’m not here to steal anything! I just want my money!” And the people always look so boring and usually mean. I’m not a fan of banks.

  16. Banks make me smile because the word can mean so many things. Of course, the obvious is the financial institution, but banks can also be a verb…as in banking on someone. I guess in its day, banking on someone meant trust enough to put money on them, but today, it’s simply a word meaning “trusting” someone.

  17. Banks. Tyra Banks. Money. Penny. Dollar. I need a dollar, a dollar, a dollar is what I need. Why do I need it? What would a world without money look like? Money, money, must be funny – in a rich man’s world!

  19. Banks, where you keep your money in. Savings accounts. But don’t forget banks, like a last name. My brother wrote a book about a mister Banks once. I think he was a gangster. Interesting book my brother wrote. Banks sounds like blanks.

  20. a rip off one of the biggest lies in the world, unnessesary. bullshit. we dont need them in the world any more, they are fear in the form of an institution.

  21. I see the tragically hip song. An image of a thin man, wild expression with both hands squishing into the river mud, and his feet firmly planted on the bank behind him. He looks up to the sky and cries out some greeting to an entity he knows is more inside than above.

  22. Banks of the river back home are always lined with these beautiful rounded pebbles. Their multi-color flooring adds a calming sense to the already present river. They remind me of nature and imperfections of it.

  23. suffocating, greedy, clawing for more, filling your head with lies and your lungs with toxins. More, more always more. There is no gain, only loss, only your soul left but soon they will snuff that too.

    Gwyn
  24. He sat on the riverbank, his arms propped up on his knees, a wooden fishing pole clutched in his hands. His foot tapped along to no rhythm in particular. His overalls were torn and the flannel shirt he wore was faded and old. But he was happy. And that’s all that mattered.

  25. Pam wakes every morning with a clear conscience. She knows she isn’t a floozy, a tramp or a slut. Oh, she’s been called those names. But, in truth, she’s an educated woman who discovered early on her one unique talent and she reckons it’ll take her to the moon one day. She banks on it.

  26. I went to the bank to deposit my money, but the front door was locked. I looked inside and saw a masked man with a gun. Seriously? The place was being held up? I pulled out my phone and began dialing 911, but police were already rolling into the parking lot. Guns were drawn, my hands were in the air, and I was crying like a baby. Just my luck!

  32. The outer banks is where I spent many of my childhood summers. Memories of them blend together into a blanket of warmth and laughter. Dancing in the streets during a block party. Swinging softly and drowsily on a hammock made for two, but I ride solo lost in my thoughts.

    Lauren
  33. The banks had closed. The money had stopped flowing in and out. The reserve was non-existent. Currency, by this time, was no longer relevant.

It had injured the country badly. Bartering was considered an old, outdated form of payment, and as a result, companies lost money and closed down as well. Car makers stopped making cars. Computer makers stopped making computers. All people worried about now was maintaining their homes and getting food.

    Belinda Roddie
  34. Banks are where people go and store money , this can be also interpreted as the river banks that is part of land body which contains the river . Banks are place where people feel safe to invest money in hope of keeping it safe and growing , while banks of river keep the river safe , they make the river flow in the straight and narrow path of its own

  35. The banks of the river are different. On my side of the river, it’s muddy and slippery and it appears as if there is no possibility for me to walk without walking into the mud and twisting my ankle. However, on the other side, the riverbank is green, full of flowers and shiny stones. Now I must decide: do I want to risk the swim? Or do I want to be content with being mediocre forever?

  36. She looked out the window. The car was moving slowly though the country side. Light glinted off her sunglasses causing an almost dazzling effect in her eyes. A river snaked past the road. The banks were calm, and the reeds swished in the wind. A homeless man sat on a rock despondently. A bloody knife rested in his hand.

  37. Funnily enough, I am about to go to a bank with a guy I’m fucking. I just wanted to check the word first, and lo and behold, it is “banks.” That’s kind of funny. Is it funny? I think it’s funny. Damn, now I’m out of words. I type too fast. Yeah I’m kind of out of things to say so I’m just going to sit here until time runs out. I hope that’s not against the spirit of things. Meh.

  40. Banks are selfish and really need to be reformed. The word banks reminds me of a corrupted government. Wether we like it or not we will always have evil…but we will also have love and compassion. Hopefully the good wins out.
