Belief is a powerful thing, it changes peoples perspectives and loves. Its important to believe in certain things but not false idols. If you believe in a certain belief but impose it on others it will not be accepted.
Belief in betterment, belief in growth, belief in fixing tomorrow what one failed today, were all that kept her going. They were the drive that left her flooring it down the highway of hopes towards goals so distant that they would take a gas station worth of maps to reach.
The trust that whatever you are saying is correct. You have all the power in something as long as you believe with all you might…it doesn’t have to be a god or a food…just grab your keys and go.
Samantha Banyai
Belief can be many different ideas. It can be the belief of “Jolly old Saint Nick,” or the belief of karma. It could be the belief that things will turn out for the better or just a belief on the weather of the day. Belief is a really broad subject.
I believe in god, he believes in me, god and believing are connected. How weird is that? God isn’t strange, but I am, what does that have to do with believing in anything? Do I believe because I want to or because I have a compulsion to?

“i believe in you”. They’ve been said many times. words based entirely on a gut feeling, an intuition. Maybe even less than that- a binding experience. whatever it was- genuine or less than, the words motivate.

I believe God is the creator of ALL things. I believe Jesus died on the cross to save me from sin. I believe He is my healer, my provider, the love of my life, and my best friend. I believe that the Holy Spirit moves me in ways that I couldn’t be moved on my own. I believe I was created with purpose and there is so much more to life that the searching soul is yearning for.
Elizabeth
they say belief is having faith in what you can’t see. I believe that what you can’t see isn’t always there. A lot of people believe in a lot of things, and they can’t all be right, so what exactly are you supposed to believe in?
DC
belief is at the core of every human, it defines us and gives us a reason to live. even those who do not have a spiritual belief still believe in something, even if it is the absence of belief
Margaret
the word belief is a very vague word, i think. what is a belief? everyone has a belief and there are hence many types of beliefs. wars have been fought over beliefs and many controversies have occured, but beliefs are a beautiful thing as they allow and individual to fully express themselves
ruby
I think that belief is a very strong word. You can have belief in something or somone and have it be completly ruined, but you can have belief as in religion and not all the time do beliefs justify what make your decisions rational or not or right or wrong it all just ultimately depends on your beliefs.
Jackie
belief: the way in which we think and process the world around us. Our morals, who we are as a person. Our belief is what guides us into the person we are to become. These beliefs are up to be challenged constantly, but that is what makes it so great
Elizabeth Grau
I have a belief that all people are good. that everyone strives to be a better person. this belief can be seen in so many ways of humanity; through human’s drive to be connected and to help those in need.

I have no beliefs. That is a lie. I have many beliefs just not in the traditional sense. I do not know what to believe. In a certain sense I do not think it matters. What is important is to live. Live without worrying about anything. Thinking too much leads to paralysis. The end.

I don’t believe in you, or me, or him, nor her… But I do believe in us, and I do believe in them.
Frank Davalos
There are a lot of wonderful things, but what is it that gives it meaning? Who are we to decide what is perfect, what is good, when we ourselves are flawed?
I say that there is something. Something bigger. Something that requires belief, faith.
This one is a tough one. Belief. Beliefs are so hard, because they are just opinions. You can’t prove them to be true, you can’t prove them to be false. You can only bicker back and forth with nonsensical “facts” until someone gives up. Most usually, someone does not give up. Sometimes that’s what it is about anyways. You don’t want to be wrong, so you continue to support something you don’t even believe in. Because if you stand down, who would you be anymore? What would define you? What would you have left? Religion is probably this way. If you were brought up into a strong religious lifestyle, would you think about changing it? Would you think about switching beliefs? Would you think about not being releigious? Probably not. Is your religion something you truly believe, or something you have been taught to believe? Some people don’t know there is another option, they don’t realize they don’t have to believe something just because they have been taught to. This goes by a lot of things. Racism. Sexism. Stereotypes. If you grew up in a family that hated a certain race, you would learn to hate it too and you probably wouldn’t think of changing the way you feel based on your own opinions. Because if you did leave behind what has been a part of you for as long as you can remember, who would you be? Maybe you would start to doubt what is real and what is not. You might realize you do not know the difference between who you are and who you think you are. For anyone who has stuck around to read this, that is a good lesson I believe. Be who you are, not who you think you are. Sometimes you are so much more than you think you are. Sometimes you can be someone great, if you put aside what you believe to be true about yourself.
This is a loaded word. Belief can range from any simple idea to the most fundamental perennial questions in life. Belief is based on the subjectivism, as opposed to solid fact and observation. The arbitrary runs in the veins of belief.
There are some really beautiful things out there. Geometry, trees, people, countrues, cosmos.
But what makes them beautiful?

Beliefs shapes a person and makes him who is is….
Even unbelief is a belief… So free thinkers are simply too lazy to think and decide what they believe in….

i believe that the person you love loves you back but you just don’t know it yet.
i believe that there are miracles in this world.
People have talked to me before about my beliefs. People have told me that I should try and find God within me. To them I say that I have tremendous respect for religious people, but I just don’t have it in me. The thought that there’s some dude in the sky controlling us all just seems ridiculous to me, sorry.

Belief is a strange thing. Everyone has their own beliefs and i wonder, who’s right? If this person believes this and this other person believes a different thing, how can we tell who’s right? Or are they both right, or wrong? A thing i’ve been thinking a lot about lately.
belief
Everything that has meaning in your life. Something that has an opinion behind it.

belief is not a good word to write about, what am i doing with my life? I believed i was going to be able to write about belief but I can not do this.

Belief. Having a belief in oneself is of the utmost importance….but what does it mean? belief in the path on whch you are traveling? Belief that you are better than the things you have accomplished so far? Belief that you are destined for another future? Belief if more of a question than a word…
Meredith Richard
I believe in life, beauty, the world. To become intune will all three of these, will help us find out true meaning of life. Beauty is all around the world, and in our daily lives
Amanda
I don’t believe in anything except what I can tough, what I can see, what I can feel. But I suppose that isn’t important, belief is something people have because it helps to believe in something when you feel down, I know that many people would give up on things if they didn’t believe they could accomplish it.
And from that moment, he knew that there was nothing after his last heartbeat. There was nothing left after anyone’s last heartbeat, last breathe, last pulse of brain activity. He was only six. But he knew.
And it was not because his mother was lying at the bottom of that wooden box at the bottom of that deep dark hole. It was not because the priest was red-faced and stuttering, drunk off the holy wine. And it was not because Celia hadn’t shown up, didn’t hold his tiny hand in hers.
It was because the old lady in the third last pew, with the odd shaped hat, sneezed.
And no one said, “Bless you.”
