  6. Belief is something everyone has…belief in something. We all don’t believe the same things, certainly. But everyone believes in something or someone. It’s how we live our beliefs that count.

  7. Belief in things that aren’t true is perhaps the number one problem of today’s society. If I was a bitter old man (or woman) I might go on about people being too gullible, but you might not want to be using such a cold word. They’re mostly too trusting, which is a bad thing but not a morally impure one certainly.

  8. belief

    arg.

I wrote something, and then saved it to my computer instead of posting it. I believe that some things are best kept off the net. Which sucks because sometimes that stuff is really good! But if it’s a memory, it may be too identifying. And if it’s a story arc, it could be stolen (*gasp!*).

Some people don’t believe this at all. They put themselves whole-ly out there. I admire them. But I don’t think I could ever be like them.

    -That’s my belief anyway.

  16. You can’t just shove your beliefs on other people’s faces. We all have things we have faith in, things we hold on to. Yours aren’t better than mine, mine aren’t better than yours. What we need to do is respect each other, know that we are not meant to always understand each other but that doesn’t mean we can’t be respectful. We are all humans, just with different beliefs.

    Karla
  17. Belief. I have many strange beliefs, but a belief in God is not one of them. Religion sucks. Opium of the masses indeed. Or at least organized religion. I mean believe what you believe, but don’t drag anyone with you. People have so many beliefs and that’s OK. They only become a problem when they interfere with the rights of others.

  18. I am of the particular belief that cats are plotting to take over the world. You see it when you walk into the room and catch them unawares. That isn’t his facebook page he’s checking out on your laptop. He’s hacking into the pentagon. Watch out.

  19. They create who we were, are and will be. Do you find it in yourself, in the sky above you- winking and sighing in mystery- or in the daily tragedies and romances that can sweep a man away before he’s realized it’s gone. Those who claim to hold no beliefs believe in doubt itself; and that my friends, is a dangerous place to live; in ones own lack.

  38. It’s hard to figure out what your beliefs are. I think a lot of people go through life without ever stopping to think what their core values or what is actually important to them in life. I think it’s a critical part of your personal identity as a person, what you believe in. Your life philosophy. What your belief is. It isn’t always about religion or science or what not, just what you think is true, and what kind of life you think you ought to live. Personal beliefs, those are the important things, I think.

  39. belief is a course of imagination. the only reason we believe is because we find ourselves with no other choice to do.
