She stared at the apparition that floated in front of her, trying to suspend her belief that these things just didn’t happen. It hovered over her, its face calm, beautiful. Then it smiled as it turned into her worst nightmare…

Everyone believes in something different. SOme people believe in some really fucked up shit, just so they can convince themselves that who they are and what they are doing are ‘right’ in the world. For example, Christian extremists. I believe in love, affluence, poetry, and integrity. These are important to me, and provide the goals in my life.
Julian Gregory
“It is my belief,” the speaker began, “that each individual should treated as just that- an individual. Not a collective member of a group; rather…” He continued.
I quickly lost focus, sketching in my notebook. I knew it wouldn’t be a problem to make up notes.
I believe in whatever it is that makes me smile, makes me happy, makes me feel alive. Your belief may not necessarily be my belief, but to each their own. I believe that your belief will keep you running smoothly just as my belief keeps me afloat.
Amanda Pizziconi
Beliefs are for the suckers who do not make the religion. Don’t you think that is correct? 50 years ago, god sent his ewok to earth to redeem 50p worth of asda coupons. This was the beginning of the groupon revolution and this later transformed into what we know as th google and groupon empire.

What do you believe? You believe you deserve to die. I believe otherwise. I believe god saved you from an attempted overdose. You don’t believe in god at all. I believe you are special and beautiful. You would disagree.

Wow, this word holds so many meanings. It is about everything. Religion is a word that i associate with belief but this word is so much more than that. Is about love, about freedom, about LIFE. Is about moving on. You dont know that awaits you in the other side so you just might as well have some belief in you. It will help a lot.
Luisina Fabregas
Putting everything into something praying and hoping it works out. Treading a thin line between hope and hopelessness. I put my faith into everything and everything betrayed me. Now when I look around, I feel as if I have nothing to believe in but myself. Looks like I’m going to have to love again. Just this time, it won’t be you.

Once I believed that this world was fare. That everyone one loved and respected each other. But of course that all came down on me. I was crushed by the thought of it.

My beliefs are muddled. It’s like my brain is slowly drowing, sinking into a pool of mud, growing murkier by the minute. If I were asked to defend my beliefs in front of others, mud would trickle from my lips. I honestly don’t know what I believe sometimes.
My father tells me that the stars don’t exist, that they are just figments of my imagination. He says that the Ancients fed us countless lies, that the night sky never held anything worth the slightest bit of wonder. But I refuse to believe that they aren’t real, simply out of the need for something greater. If the stars don’t exist, what else can I believe in?
what someone believes, like magic, or religion. Or in mythology. Or in science. What they feel inside about the world around them and what exists and what doesn’t. :3 Kiiiieeeeeeeeh~C

I used to believe I was human. I used to think a lot of things… they told me that believing what you don’t see is the whole point in faith. I’ve been let down so many times I don’t think I’ll ever believe something I cannot see.

Belief. I don’t have any beliefs. I wish I did. Believing in something would bring a little purpose to my life. I believe in me. I believe that I can be a good person. I good wife, a good mother, good at my career. I believe that there are no coincidences in life. I believe that life is what you make it, and there is no such thing as destiny. I believe my life will be what I want it to be, no more, no less.

Belief is a silly word, and I’ve always thought that ever ‘since I was young.
And then I met you and belief became a skeptical word.
I couldn’t believe someone like you could actually exist.
Someone so perfect for me, it was undeniably destiny.
i don’t really know what belief is. i believe in so little things. the first thing that comes to my mind when i hear the word belief is religion, but i try not to think about religion too often. it causes too many problems in the world. i like to believe that i believe in god, but i really cannot say. i wish everyone believed in simple things, and didn’t think other people’s beliefs were any better; people get hurt.
My belief was that you loved me. For me. My belief was that you cared about the things I wanted. I guess I was dead wrong. You never loved me. You used me. You only cared about getting the job done. Well congrats
I believe that belief in itself is a concept that should not excist. This Idea however arguments against itself and is therefore rendered mute.

I believe in me, i believe in love, in friends, in loyalty. a belief not a beleaf, but a beleaf poem should work sometimes.

I know of someone who became a priest only to discover that his love of music was stronger and conflicted with the churches schedule. So he decided to leave the church and now plays music almost nightly in desert towns.
I have a strong belief, in lots of thing that most wouldnt
I think make believe scenarios are more fun than real life. Why are so many beliefs not accepted? when some are just put in our head from day one.
Madison Berkemeier
Belief… such an ever-changing word….. one minute you could believe that the earth is round, then the next you could believe that it’s flat…..
All she knew was that nothing was really true in the end….
Belief. Bee leaf. Get away from that tree or you’ll be stung. Yule beast tongue. Tongue-tied, hog-tied, red tide. Believe in yourself, all others must pay cash.
haley_says_no@yahoo.comI think of religion, witch i have trouble believing in.
At times i want to believe, but it all seems so unbelievable.
To believe or not to believe, that is the question.

Can we just sit back and relax? Belief, that’s what everyone says. You have to believe in something. Belief makes you strong. No it doesn’t. You have to understand.
Madi
belief in life is important because without belief, you’d be lost. there are many type of beliefs in life: belief in God, in your friends, the people around and even your enemies!
Keen senses have the ability to pick up certain omens that exist beyond the bounds of the physical. For instance, from even a large distance one can have the ability to detect, even without the fore-knowledge of this specific persons mannerisms, or normal choice of clothing and posture, that this person may very well be deeply depressed, or elated for that matter. This is not based upon empirical knowledge, nor is it based upon schooling in psychological matters. It is purely intuition, the sense that is often left out of the well-beaten five, and as well, the most mysterious.
Belief is something I do not possess. All I have is doubt, nestled in my back pocket, with a photograph and a train ticket. Believing you will love me…that cannot ever be true.
Olivia
belief is the strongest thing a person can have. It is your faith, it is how you feel about everything. When you have a strong belief system you are strengthened by it and can overcome anything.

His eyes were different than anything I had ever seen. The black depths, like lifeless tar pools, were mesmerizing. The only thought that flitted through my head as his cold, dead fingertips brushed my face was that I could believe now. I could believe that anything was possible. And good things could come from anywhere… thank God for the zombie apocalypse. Otherwise I never could have found the love of my life.
Belief, faith, hope…that all-around good feeling word everyone like to hear once in a while. Belief in a higher power or belief in nothing, differing paths but still a major impact on the audience. BELIEF. Do you have belief?
Ariel
What does one believe? What are their beliefs? Is that all we care about? We care so much about those that belong to other people to the point where we are blinded by our own beliefs.
