it’s hard living life after an atomic blast, it’s terrible. Most people I knew have passed away, and the people who have survived are ravaging beasts. They tear people apart for anything that look valuable. It’s insane. I hope that one day we can return to the days before the blast.

What you see isn’t all you get, baby. There are layers within layers here. My emotions are on full blast, all the time. Only the tight, tight, control I keep on them turns the volume down low enough to where you can stand it. Don’t get too close. It’s loud in here.
the cannon roared to life inside the dark cave. Unlike before Sharon remembered to wear her helmet. Beside her was her trusty sidekick and favorite alien Mumba. Mumba embraced the thought of finally going home. Mercury was just a memory. Twenty zillion years was along time to be away from her homeland. Streaming through gullies of rock and diamonds. Glistening beside ornamental grasses the fireflies ignited another blast, but just for a moment. The bigger blast followed! Sending them all home.

“To the moon!” he said, when asked whether he would prefer 10 years alone in space or 5 with a random person. I didn’t say it, but I would pick 5- what if the person turned into the person I wanted it to be?

“It was a blast,” I told my friend. She was on the other end of the line, but didn’t miss my eye rolls.
“I bet!” She sympathized with my plight. I dreaded that she would soon be sunk into the same unpleasant experience. I could tell her what to expect, but it would only make the agony more intense.
“So, which day’s work meeting are you attending?”

This summer, I would call it a blast. I had a lot of fun hanging out with friends all the time and even working was fun. I enjoyed it a lot.
“Five, four, three, two, one: BLAST OFF! Another rocketship run!”
(Stage directions: Sung at top voice by a three year old, every morning. Coreography includes jumping with hands thrown in the air at the end of the countdown, then looking over the shoulder to ensure younger brother has followed suit.)
I always have a blast with my girlfriends Things have changed now that most of us have had kids…but i do love sitting around the table with wine and good conversation and babies sleeping around us.
I had a blast trying to get Noah’s room finished. He loves his big boy shelves and all of his fun toys stored nice and neat. What a blast I am having raising that baby boy!

I never realized that jumping the cliff was a blast! At first I was a bit hesitant but as I took that first step, I knew I did the right thing. I now see that taking chances isn’t a bad thing.
in a firey blast of passion, they kissed and all was right in the world again, she had never been so in love. could this be real? is he really here this time? when will he leave next? she didnt care, all that mattered was here and now.

The blast was so loud that the noise encompassed me entirely, dwarfing me with its magnitude. As debris rained down, the dying rumble was replaced by a cacophony of car alarms, giving way in turn to screams. What I didn’t hear was the faux shutter-click of a camera-phone. I never expected my bloodied, dust-encrusted face to be on the front page of every newspaper the next day, and I never even found out the name of the paramedic pictured helping me to the ambulance.
It felt like an explosion, a blast of ideas bursting forward. She couldn’t comprehend how they’d all come at once, when usually the trickle in slowly. Grabbing the pen, she started to scratch them on paper furiously; the ideas still silently screaming out their presence to her.
She smiled, her aviator goggles hiding her eyes. “Thanks, honey. It’s been a *blast*! Toodle-oo!” And with that she grabbed onto the ladder that dropped, swinging, behind her and whipped away with the helicopter.
once i went to a carnival. I saw a sign that send 25 cents for a 10 minute blast. I thought “wow 25 cents for 10 minutes of blasting. What is blasting??”

it was cold out there. I couldn’t see anything but the blast was killing me. I barely could walk on the snows. There was no car in the road.
The blast deafened the crowd, then silenced it for a moment before the shrieking began again, this time not in jubilation but in horror.

I hear the blast and hit the deck, the heat sears flesh as it passes. I must run, I must go.
The world burns and everything blurs as I run for cover, I need shelter I need someplace safe.

She stood in the grocery store aisle for ten minutes screaming “What did you do with the Blast O’ Butter??!!”
It shook the very gound we were standing on.We trembled with fear and grief, knowing that many were dead and dying. wHO COULD HAVE DONE THIS?
Steamy oven-like temperatures blast from the doorway as I wait for her to decide whether or not she is going to return.
