  1. A brick is a piece of clay that holds everything together. Without a brick, there is no wall. Like a single person a brick is fundamental in holding everything in balance, no brick no structure. A brick can be used to build many things, from houses to walkways. They make life easier and keep us sheltered and safe. Bricks are strong, and not easily broken. Bricks are rectangular, and not very heavy, so that they are easily handled by many people. Bricks are very useful and are the most popular building materials in the world.

  6. One last time I fumbled around in the dark trying to find where her cries were coming from. Sadness poured is from every quiet room of this edifice. Using the brick walls, I feel my way across the entrance hoping that what I find on the other side will not be a trap. That I will not fall blindly into my worst nightmare.

  10. She’s a brick house. Why do I almost always do song associations? I was walking the other day in a neighborhood and I saw a beautiful red brick wall with vines twisting up it, reaching up up up – I didn’t have my camera with me but I want to go back and take a picture of it. Why do I feel like I need to photograph everything? Can’t I just live in the moment without striving to preserve it?

I was putting in so much effort just like every single person down the line, a line that would go for miles and miles if anyone cared to test it. And each contribution stood like a brick in some massive wall we were building together – I was just afraid it would end up blocking us all off in the end.

  22. Is what keeps many thing’s in place and/or order. Also used for design, and to improve the way something looks. Heavy, and hard, good for working out! It is made of usually cement, and can be molded into different sizes and made in many different colours.

  35. i feel like i’ve been hit upside the head with a brick. a cinder block. an acme anvil. i just got a phone call of a job offer and i’m so excited, but honestly, i feel a little taken aback. i am excited to start a new job, have new coworkers and learn new things. however, i am not excited to wake up early, perhaps stay late and have to wear “work clothes” everyday. oh well. better to work than to not. trust me, i know.
