  2. course. killing. death. destruction. Everything collides with everything else. We run into each other to feel something. That’s from crash. That’s what it makes me think of you know. Just smashing with glass everywhere. Twisted metal and chunks of nothing. I love a good collision more than anything.

  7. When two worlds collide everything is out of balance. There is nothing you can do to stop it. All you can do is sit and watch the catastrophe as it happens, and hope that nothing is broken beyond repair. It throws you off, it spins your head, but in the end it will all be okay.

  10. I collided into my mother the other day. She said it wasn’t an accident. Though my mind thought otherwise. This is not right, but she reassured me with a grimly awkward smile she always had and with a pat on the head. “It’s ok, Squirt,” she rasped. Her voice was gritty from smoking and it hadn’t been anything new. A pack maybe two a day… What else seems to beusing?

  20. His eyes were boring into my own, their dark shadows such a strange contrast to the seafoam I saw daily in the mirror. Something had changed, though I couldn’t see at the moment if it was for the better or for the worst. Somewhere in the heat and tension of our one moment, our souls collided, and I knew my heart was his.

  27. And that was the moment their two hearts collided. She was sitting near the end of the bar, fresh makeup applied to cover the evidence of her tears and he was walking through the doors, his leather jack clinging in all the right places. They locked eyes, and, for a single suspended moment in time, their hearts collided and they were forever entwined.

Everyone can see the asteroid as it hurtles through space, glinting in the sunlight as it approaches the atmosphere. They’ve all known it was coming for days now. There was nothing to do to stop it. They can only watch and wait for the collision.

  39. She slammed on the breaks, her little stick shift car stuttered into a stall out in her sudden fright. But she still managed to bump the guy in front of her, barely even scratching his big truck. She blinked and quickly got her bearings, leaping out of the car to talk to the man.

He got out of the car, deep molasses eyes staring at her. She looked ashamed and mumbled an apology, but he grinned and stated simply, “We’ll call it even if you go on a date with me.” She looked surprised but then smiled widely, “That sounds like a plan.”
