  1. I have a deadline in my life. It’s coming soon and I’m not ready, nothing’s finished, I’m not where I’m supposed to be. I don’t know what happens when a deadline isn’t met. Before I could cry or manipulate or joke my way throughout. But what about your own deadlines, the ones you make up to determine who you are and what you mean? There is no joking your way out of it. You can cry, but it won’t make a difference. You are what you are.

  4. deadline, yes. love it love it love it, wouldn’t do anything without it, without knowing there is a date and a time for getting a thing done. deadlines mean anxiety but performance improves with some kinds of anxieties. i love deadlines. glad to have a deadline today. thank you for reading, for being here.

  12. Deadline,deadlines, …. everything needs to be controlled by deadlines these days. And if you achieve the deadline today they will give you a shorter one tomorrow. Do we need this control and steess in our lives, does it help with a relaxed office. Was it really needed that soon or were you just trying to show you think you are in charge.

  15. I love the time deadlines make as they go whooshing past is what Douglas Adams said about them. I have always liked working to dealines though. Though the finality of the word is slightly chilling. Its almost like one might drop dead if we dont comply.

  19. yesterday, my manager called me and told that you have to finish this task. He also told that deadline is on13th june. IT was terrible day for me. I started working the issue and I am able to indentify the fix after analysis. I am thinking oof the solution and as soon as i got it it confirmed with manager.I will start working on it. Once i implemented it I need to test it manully first and then I ll run quite a few replication regression .

I like the dead line I like to be on time in the last minute a dead line as short as poossible is better than a dead line that arrive in a year or 2 I remeber that I wole up one morning and realize the dead line for the paper will expire in 10 minutes so I wrote toh 1002 worss really fast and won the big prize.   27. Shit I’m on a deadline. I’m not sure if I’ll have any time to finish this shit. What am I going to do? If all else fails I’m going to wing it. Just B.S. on it. What’s a guy suppose to do. The clock is ticking and there isn’t anything I’m can do about it.

  28. there are a million deadlines but they are only there to create order and improve efficiency otherwise we would have no motivation to get things done. deadlines help us maintain the significance of time because it is only the absence of or limitedness of time that makes us find value.

  31. oh my god. my life is ruled by deadlines. no matter when they are, how achievable or unachievable they are, I must wait until the absolute last minute to do what I need to do. there is some perverse pleasure in procrastination. that feeling of naughtiness of being in control by being out of control.

  37. stress, that’s all it means. stress means my mother, stress means my sisters, stress means a hormonal household and violence associated with crying. stress means getting rachel to cumberland farms at stupid hours of the night just to get supplies for her fifth grade project, when your mother gets pulled over and almost arrested the night before your birthday. stress means rushing, deadlines mean stress. bliss is when you meet one.

  40. the end is near hurry hurry I work better under pressure I am the procastination queen I used to wait until the day before with all assignments esp journalism I won awards that way I miss that time of my life I have no deadlines now just bills and my kids they are kind of like deadlines I guess time to eat diaper changes you know the routine and dinner for my husband try to have it done when he comes home. thus is the life of a momy and wife
